WASHINGTON — American intelligence analysts have concluded that a recent Israeli airstrike on a warehouse in Syria did not succeed in destroying all of the Russian-made antiship cruise missiles that were its target, American officials said on Wednesday, and that further Israeli strikes are likely.

Israel carried out an attack on July 5 near Latakia to destroy the missiles, which Russia had sold to Syria. While the warehouse was destroyed, American intelligence analysts have now concluded that at least some of the Yakhont missiles had been removed from their launchers and moved from the warehouse before the attack.

Muutaman kuukauden ilman ruokaa, niin kyllähän se ihmislihakin maistuisi. NL:ssäkin söivät toisiaan kun nälänhätä iski. Saivat siinä Assadin joukotkin lopultakin vähän ruokaa mahansa täytteeksi. He ilmeisesti mässäilevät kapinallisten aivoilla?

This was the first important gain by Al Qaeda’s North Caucasian brigade, Jaish al-Muhajireen wal Ansar, and its Chechen commander Abu Omar. They caught Syrian troops at the base and executed them by slashing their throats or beheading. If these jiahdists move on Syria’s borders, they will confront Israeli, Jordanian and US forces based in the Hashemite kingdom with a different and fearsome kind of terrorist savagery.

In what has become commonplace, yet another report has now surfaced regarding a massacre of innocent civilians by al-Qaeda death squads in Syria. According to reports from Al-Alam News, an Iranian news agency, approximately 330 men and women have been murdered along with 120 children in Tal Abyad, a district of northern Syria. The majority of the victims appear to have been Kurdish.

The perpetrators of the attack were allegedly members of the Jabhat al-Nusra Front, a terrorist organization which has been active inside Syria for some time and one which has clear ties to both the CIA and Turkish intelligence...

One of the more surprising news to hit the tape yesterday was that Saudi Arabia, exasperated and desperate by Russia’s relentless support of the Syrian regime and refusal to abandon the Syrian army thus facilitating the Qatari plan to pass its natgas pipeline to Europe under Syria, had quietly approached Putin with a proposal for a huge arms deal and a pledge to boost Russian influence in the Arab world if only Putin would abandon Syria’s Assad. It will hardly come as a surprise to anyone that in the aftermath of yesterday’s dilettante mistake by Obama which alienated Putin from the western world (and its subservient states such as Saudi Arabia of course), has just said no.

Uutiset kertovat että yk:n tarkastajat lähtevät Syyriaan pian. Tutkimaan kemiallisten käyttöä. Mielenkiintoinen yksityiskohta pelkän yhden päivän seurannan mukaan. iltapäivälehti päätti uutisoinnin, että sekä hallituksen että kapinallisten on epäilty käyttäneen kemiallisia aseita. Ylen uutisten lukija kertoi aamuvirkuill että Syyrian hallituksen on epäilty käyttäneen kemiallisia aseista.

Tuo pikainen reissu sinetöi syyrian kohtalon. Tämän hetken huhut puhuvat 40km:n levyisestä turva-alueesta pitkin jordanian ja syyrian rajaa. Lentokieltoalue sille,ja miehitys 3000-kapinallisen joukosta jota koulutettu kokoajan jenkkien toimesta Jordaniassa... Israel vastaa ilmasuojasta. Uusi pääkaupunki alueen sisään vapaalle syyrialle.

Katsotaan pitääkö huhut paikkansa. Ainoa fakta on että jotain niiden jenkkien on tehtävä. Muut ovat spekulointia.
