Miksi Leo 1 hankittaisiin museolle?
Kuten jo kirjoitettua, niin olemassa oleville vaunuille ei löydy kunnollista näyttelytilaa nytkään. Suomessa ei ole mitään kytköstä kyseiseen vaunutyyppiin joten tuskin siitä syystä hankitaan.
Olisiko jokin venäläinen keräilijä kyseessä? Vaunun kuljetus Suomen kautta olisi jotenkin ainoa vaihtoehto?

Kaikki on mahdollista, mutta onhan museolla Sherman, joten miksei yksi Leo1.

Näinpä. Ei sen sinällään tarvitse Suomeen kytkeytyä, jos museo on vaihtokaupalla/lahjoituksena/lainaan/jotain muuta vastaan saanut vaunun halvalla, niin miksei. Pidän ehkä outona ettei Panssarissa ole ollut puhetta jos olisi pidempään harkittu, mutten valita jos se museoon päätyy kun allekirjoittaneella olisi ensi kesänä tarkoitus sielläkin taas käydä. Voihan kyseeseen tulla joku Leo 1 -> Leo 2 evoluutiojuttu. Mikäli se siis Panssarimuseoon menee, eikä keräilijälle/Patrialle, tai jollekkin muulle taholle.
 
Entä jos noita on hankittu erään vähemmistön toimesta? Pian niitä huolletaan Teboilin halleissa ympäri Suomea. Eräänä tulevana päivänä Leopard 1 vaunut ilmestyvät katukuvaan. Miehistöinä
Suomea puhuvia asepukuisia miehiä ilman tunnuksia:cool:

Kyllä ehdottomasti, mutta niin myös Leo 1:llä. Vaunu oli euroopassa erittäin yleinen ja sitä lienee saatavissa kohtuullisen helposti, joten mistä sitä tietää. Tämä kuitenkin puhdasta spekulaatiota ja ajatuksesi Venäläisestä keräilijästä on yhtä hyvä spekulaatio. Jännityksellä jään odottamaan uutisia.:)
 
Onko mahdollista sovittaa Marksman-torni Leo 1;een? Jos näin on niin eikö ole turhaa haaskausta laittaa ne uudempaan Leo 2;een?

Riippuu siitä, että paljonko eläimestä jää jäljelle ja saatko kaikki kappaleet löydettyä. Emmehän halua jättää niitä paloja levälleen, kun tietyt taudit voivat levitä sen takia.

Mutta eikös tuollaiseen pitäisi saada myös HE kranaatti?

Siinä sen näkee, että ei ne aseet (tankit) sitä taistelua tee vaan se miten niitä käytetään. Tankit eivät ole mitään eteen avoimeen tuntemattomaan työnnettyjä tiedusteluvaunuja.
