Guys, it looks like Serbian Army adopts 6.5 Grendel as their main "general purpose cartridge".
In the Army of Serbia, infantry platoons uses four calibers now: 7.62x39 and 5.56x45 assault rifles, 7.62x54R machine guns, and 7.9x57 sniper rifles.
Their reasoning is: having a single caliber for the entire infantry platoon it would greatly simplify logistics and maintenance of weapons.
6.5 Grendel really is good round. It will be interesting to see how this is all going to end up.
We do have members here from Serbian Army, so i would love to hear your direct feedback on this...
