Kuollut pelastaja on aika huono pelastaja tosiaankin.
Olin muutama vuosi sitten koulutuksessa jossa ilmavoimien pelastusupseeri esitelmöi pakkolaskun tehneen sotilaskoneen vaaroista. Ensin täytyy selvitellä mistä on turvallista lähestyä.
Industrial fire at Kharkiv's "Hartrone" complex claimed eight lives and injured at least seven, 22 were saved.
Six bodies were found inside "Hartrone" building after fourth and fifth floors caught on fire. Several people were forced to climb over balcony guardrails in hopes of rescue. Video shows three people overcome by fire and smoke and plunging several floors to the ground. One person died at the scene another one died in hospital of massive injuries he sustained after the fall. One more of those who were forced to jump is in intensive care unit in very serious condition. At least three more were able to hang on just long enough to be rescued.
Seven more people have been hospitalized with burns and smoke inhalation injuries.
Rescue effort and "Hartrone's" safety measures will be reviewed and criminal charges are likely to be filed against "Hartrone".
Around a 100 people were horribly burned alive this tragic night. It clearly demonstrates how the when the right amount of combustible material and oxygen are mixed how quick a fire can consume a building.
This is a NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) recreation of the tragic "The Station Night Club Fire" that occurred in Rhode Island in 2003. NIST (Daniel Madrzykowski) has done an excellent job of re-creating the fuel load and showing the progression of the fire and also showing the temperatures that were produced by the fire. He took the train from Thane for Mumbra and started performing stunts by trying to hang outside the train and touching poles near the railway track. The train was moving from CST when a photographer captured Moshin's stunts on his camera.
Even when the train was in full speed, Mohsin did not stop and kept on hanging outside the train and tried to touch the poles.
