MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. Average consumer prices for gasoline in Russia from January 29 to February 5, 2024 decreased by 31 kopecks - to 54.64 rubles per liter, according to Rosstat materials.
According to statistics, average prices for AI-92 gasoline increased by 2 kopecks and amounted to 50.57 rubles per liter. Gasoline AI-95 rose in price by 3 kopecks to 55.23 rubles per liter, and the cost of AI-98 remained at the level of last week and amounted to 68.62 rubles per liter. The average price for diesel fuel increased by 5 kopecks and amounted to 64.89 rubles.
According to Rosstat, for the period from January 30 to February 5, 2024, an increase in prices for gasoline was recorded in 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, most of all in the Republic of Tyva (+1.7%).
A decrease in prices for gasoline was recorded in five constituent entities of the Russian Federation, most of all in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (-0.8%).
In Moscow and St. Petersburg, prices for gasoline have not changed over the past period. At the observed gas stations in Moscow, gasoline of the AI-92 brand could be purchased at a price from 49.29 to 52.03 rubles, of the AI-95 brand - from 54.79 to 59.31 rubles, of the AI-98 brand and above - from 63, 39 to 71.99 rubles per liter. In St. Petersburg, gasoline grade AI-92 cost from 50.25 to 52.24 rubles, grade AI-95 - from 54.1 to 57.82 rubles, grade AI-98 and higher - from 67.9 to 71.64 ruble per liter.
The volume of gasoline production in the Russian Federation from January 29 to February 4 increased by 4.5% compared to the previous week and amounted to 901.7 thousand tons. Diesel fuel production decreased by 2.5% and amounted to almost 1.68 million tons.
