The eight hundred and eighteenth day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
During the past day, a total of 112 combat clashes took place, the enemy carried out six missile strikes using six missiles, 52 air strikes (dropped 62 anti-aircraft missiles), used 977 kamikaze drones, including 47 UAVs of the Shahed and Lancet types and 930 FPV- drones The invaders shelled the positions of our troops and peaceful settlements 4,064 times with various types of weapons, including 120 times with rocket salvo fire systems.
Over the past day, the Air Force and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 20 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, an area of concentration of military equipment, a control post, an artillery device, an ammunition depot, and an enemy air defense device.
As a result, the total losses of the Russian invaders amounted to about 1,380 people last day. Also, the enemy lost 15 tanks, 34 armored combat vehicles, 42 artillery systems, one anti-aircraft missile system, four air defense systems, 54 operational-tactical BpLA (strike and reconnaissance), two missiles, 72 vehicles and six units of special equipment.
The defense forces continue to concentrate their main efforts in the Tavriy, Donetsk and Slobozhansk operational areas with the aim of disrupting the plans of the occupiers to advance in the Donetsk, Luhansk and part of the Kharkiv regions, strengthen their positions along the state border of Ukraine with the Russian Federation. In the hottest areas of the front, Ukrainian soldiers hold their positions and destroy the invader, in some places they counterattack.
Already today, 37 combat clashes took place. The invaders carried out 514 attacks on the positions of our troops, including 21 from anti-aircraft guns. The enemy made one air strike using a guided air bomb. The Russian invaders also used 63 kamikaze drones.
In particular, on the night of May 21, the enemy attacked the territory of Ukraine with 29 attack UAVs of the "Shahed" type from three directions: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk (Russian Federation) and Cape Chauda (TOT of Ukrainian Crimea). As a result of anti-aircraft combat, our military shot down 28 "martyrs" in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kherson and Kirovohrad regions.
In addition, today the enemy used 34 FPV drones on the positions of our troops.
In the Kharkiv direction, the Defense Forces repulse an enemy attack in the direction of the settlement of Liptsi. The situation is under control, losses of positions are not allowed.
According to updated data, the total losses of the invaders in this direction in the past day amounted to 263 people, 52 pieces of equipment and more than two dozen dugouts. Our soldiers destroyed four armored combat vehicles, three artillery systems, five units of automobile and special equipment and 12 unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, one armored combat vehicle, seven artillery systems, one anti-aircraft vehicle and 14 vehicles were damaged.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been four combat clashes in the Kupyansk direction. Our defenders successfully repelled the attack of the Russian invaders in the direction of Ivanovka. Fighting continues in the Sinkivka and Berestovo districts.
In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers repel enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vyimka and Rozdolivka. Loss of positions was not allowed, the situation is under control.
In the Kramatorsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attempted to improve the tactical position five times. Three attacks were repulsed. Fighting continues in the districts of Klishchiivka and Andriivka.
The situation is currently the hottest in the Pokrovsky direction. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 11 enemy attacks. The enemy continues to advance in the direction of Yevhenivka, Sokil, Novoselivka Persha, Severnye and Netaylovye settlements. At one of the sites, measures are being taken to stabilize the situation.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the enemy is currently continuing offensive actions in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Pobieda settlements. The situation is under the control of the Defense Forces.
Since the beginning of the day, four attempts of the enemy to advance in the direction of Vremivsk, in the area of the village of Staromayorske, have been repelled. Loss of our positions was not allowed.
