Ukrainan konflikti/sota

Kupyanskin tilanne on hiukan parantunut viime päivinä mutta vieläkään örkkejä ei ole saatu heitettyä pois kaupungista.

Translated from Ukrainian

Things have gotten a bit better in Kupyansk. Some previously lost positions were (again) successfully retaken for the second time. Some of them were cleared in the third-fourth round.+ there are additional cleared positions that the enemy previously controlled. The gray zone (I can't call the gray zone a LBZ, considering the context of the fighting) in the city resembles an elongated (but narrow) trapezoid, inside which our and enemy positions are mixed. In principle, in the northern part of Pokrovsk it's approximately the same, but the situation there is much worse. The only exception is the "corner" of the trapezoid in the southwestern part of Kupyansk, where fighting continues.I post all updates from there with a delay and do not make visualizations on the map, so as not to harm anyone.

Urals / Brent hintaero räjähtänyt yli 20 dollariin (normaalisti luokkaa 5-10 $). Tällä hinnalla jokainen barreli on reilusti tappiota ryssille.

Thorkill kerännyt hiukan huhuja uudesta kriisisuunnasta eli Hulyapolen alueelta. Nämä ovat nimenomaan huhuja, eli paikallisista chateista ja vapaaehtoisilta saatuja kommentteja. Muuta kommenttia en löytänyt.

Omasta mielestäni Ukrainan viimeisen parin kuukauden aikana kriisiytyneen tilanteen taustalla on nimenomaan ryssän droonitoiminnan huomattava kehittyminen.

Situation in the Huliaipole area.Gathered snippets of info from many different open sources, mainly chats of Huliaipole residents and volunteers involved in civilian evacuations, about the current situation in the city area.1. The Pokrovsk - Huliaipole road on 15.11.2025 was passable along its entire length. On that day, a group of civilians was evacuated from Huliaipole along it. I don't know how it is now. Yesterday, Russian DRG groups approached the road in the Varvariivka area and had to counterattack elements of the 33rd Assault Regiment. I don't know the outcome of those fights, but today in the DS map update, no changes were marked there.2. Along the Pokrovsk - Huliaipole road, Russian FPV drones are buzzing around or Russian troops are lying in wait and attacking vehicles traveling on it. There are particularly many of them near the makeshift bridge - causeway over the Haichur River (47.67654,36.25257), built next to the former pedestrian footbridge on Naberezhna Street in the northern part of Huliaipole. This is the only active crossing over the Haichur River in the city and its surroundings. Ukrainian sappers have hung an anti-drone net over it. Unfortunately, the rest of the Pokrovsk - Huliaipole road lacks this protection. You can watch what driving this road over the causeway looks like in the video below. Next to it are the effects of one of the latest Russian FPV attacks on it on a military pickup. The photo was shared by one of the volunteers.3. Huliaipole is currently shelled daily by the Russians using BM-21 Grad launchers. Civilians still remaining in it also report hearing the sounds of battle coming from the east from the area of the villages of Zatyshsha - Zeleny Hai. Russian FPV drones are also constantly operating over the city. No confirmations of rumors about the alleged entry of Russian DRG into Huliaipole.4. For several days, I've been getting information from various sources about fresh Ukrainian units that have appeared in the Huliaipole area, as well as in the city itself. Residents write about them in chats; info about them was also provided by the previously quoted Huliaipole Spotter account associated with the 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade. So far, I have confirmation of the appearance there of elements of the 116th Mechanized Brigade and the 24th assault battalion "Aidar," likely sent from the reserve of the neighboring XVII Corps, defending the Orikhiv area, as well as the "Sheikh Mansur" battalion from HUR structures. Other units have probably also been transferred, but I don't have confirmations yet.
