Following a drone attack on the port of Taman, a 1,500 square meter pipeline carrying fuel oil caught fire
The fire on a pipeline in the port of Taman currently covers 1,500 square meters, according to the Krasnodar Krai administration. The fuel oil pipeline caught fire following a drone strike overnight.
119 people and 34 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire. The administration reported that rescuers have already extinguished the fire on a tanker and one of the port's berths. The drone strike damaged two piers, one of the supply pipelines, two tankers, and two storage tanks. According to local authorities, no oil spill occurred.
The Taman seaport is located near the village of Volna in the Temryuk district. The port was attacked by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones on the night of December 21-22. No injuries were reported. The Ministry of Defense's report notes that five Ukrainian Armed Forces drones were shot down last night over the Krasnodar Territory and the Black Sea.
