How I became a marksman — from a choreographer to an attack aircraft of the 3rd OShBr

This is a short interview with a combat sniper of the Third Separate Assault Brigade. She is 21 years old, her call sign is Helga, and she is a scout marksman of the 1st mechanized battalion.

The girl comes from the Mykolayiv region. Since childhood, she was involved in sports and graduated from school with a specialty in "folk choreography". Taught, worked with children's and adult groups. During the war, she realized that she was no longer interested in creative life, and chose a course for military affairs.

Helga passed the KMB and entered the service in June last summer. Talking about the selection, he notes that the main thing in this is your spirit, and that you will not give up.

"I saw that the recruitment for the KMB is going on in social networks. I got in touch, everything was explained to me without any problems. They said if I take out the traction - please. The decision was made immediately. No separate standards for women and men - it was difficult for everyone. It's not about how well you perform push-ups. You will make it obliquely - the main thing is that you will make it. More spirit was checked. No one was prejudiced," the military woman explains.

Today, as a sniper, she performs combat missions in the Bakhmut direction. Also monitors the enemy and adjusts artillery.

In this video, she talked about what she values the unit she serves in and how she treats the Russians in her crosshairs.
