Volunteers of the Alternativa movement found a farm in the village of Podkolodnovka, Bogucharovsky District, Voronezh Region, where about a hundred people found themselves in labor slavery,
according to the organization's Telegram channel. The illegal exploitation of people, including citizens of Belarus, is controlled by a certain Nadezhda Vasilyevna, who initially worked together with her husband, and now has connected her own sons to the family business, said four victims released by volunteers.
According to them, people are lured to work with promises of high salaries (the wards of Alternativa call the figure of 2,000 rubles a day) and free accommodation and meals. In reality, as the released people said, the "employers" feed the workers, who are "always behind the fence", with promises and transport them from one region to another, including the Kuban and the Smolensk region. According to one of the wards, even in the store, slaves are released only accompanied by a senior, who himself makes purchases within the allocated amount - 3000 rubles per month. Workers are fed mostly expired food, and are also regularly beaten for trying to escape, poor work, etc.
