"At the Security Council meeting, Putin claimed “strategic stability continues to degrade” and announced Russia is abandoning its moratorium on deploying medium and short-range missiles, calling it a “forced step.” He warned Moscow is ready to respond to threats with military force, while insisting Russia is “not interested in an arms race.”"

The Russian Permanent Mission denied violating Estonian airspace.

UN, September 22. /TASS/. Estonia has no evidence that Russia allegedly violated its airspace. Dmitry Polyansky, Russia's First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, stated this at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

"Our neighbors now imagine that Russia was at fault for violating Estonian airspace. As always, there is no evidence, other than the Russophobic hysteria from Tallinn, which our Estonian colleagues will vividly demonstrate to us today. Meanwhile, the facts indicate that on September 19, three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets carried out a scheduled flight from Karelia to an airfield located in the Kaliningrad region, which was carried out strictly in accordance with international airspace regulations," the diplomat emphasized.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Russian MiG-31s did not violate Estonian airspace. The three Russian MiG-31s, the ministry stated, conducted a scheduled flight from Karelia to the Kaliningrad region. The flight was conducted in strict compliance with international airspace regulations and did not violate the borders of other states, as confirmed by objective monitoring. During the flight, the Russian aircraft did not deviate from the agreed-upon air route and did not violate Estonian airspace, the ministry emphasized.

On vaan sairasta tuo meno.
In a Russian school in Kursk, a cadet class for first-graders has opened. Children were prepared for enrollment back in kindergarten, "being introduced to military uniforms and traditions of military service."

Now, 6- to 7-year-olds face standard-issue uniforms, drill training, a teacher who participated in the "special military operation," and "patriotic education in the spirit of serving the motherland." At the ceremonial opening, the project was presented as "an important step in raising the country’s future defenders."

Russia militarizes children from a very small age. This is a very dangerous symptom.

Venäjän hallitus antoi duumalle lakiehdotuksen palvelusrikoksista anettavien tuomioiden kiristämistä niille jotka ovat liittyneet armeijaan välttääkseen rikostuomion tai päästäkseen pois vankilasta. Perusteluna on yllättäen näiden veijarien tekemien rikkomusten määrä. Esim. rintamakarkuruudesta saatava tuomio kiristyisi 5-15 vuodesta 10-20 vuoteen.

The government has proposed toughening penalties for those who went to the front to avoid criminal prosecution.

The government has submitted a bill to the State Duma to toughen penalties for military crimes for service members who signed contracts with the Ministry of Defense in exchange for exemption from criminal prosecution.

The changes to criminal prosecution will equally affect two categories of service members: those who signed contracts in exchange for release from prison, where they were sentenced by a court. And those who agreed to go to the front in exchange for the suspension of criminal proceedings before sentencing.

For these categories of service members, during an armed conflict, it is proposed to replace the current sentences for certain military crimes with harsher ones:

-For desertion (Article 338 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) – from 10 to 20 years (currently from 5 to 15 years);
-For evading military service by feigning illness, self-harm, document forgery, or other deception (Article 339 of the Russian Criminal Code), the penalty is 7 to 12 years (currently 5 to 10 years).

For unauthorized absence from duty or failure to appear without good cause (Article 337 of the Russian Criminal Code), the penalties, as in the original version of the article, are ranked depending on the length of the delay:

-For failure to appear for duty without good cause from two to ten days, the penalty is 2 to 6 years (currently up to five years);
-For failure to appear for more than ten days but no more than one month, the penalty is 3 to 8 years (currently up to seven years);
-For failure to appear for more than one month, the penalty is 7 to 12 years (currently 5 to 10 years).

The Supreme Court's opinion is attached to the bill. The ministry deemed the amendments "relevant and timely," citing the "ratio of crimes" committed by formerly incarcerated military personnel.

The initiative was developed by the Ministry of Justice, and last week it was supported by the government's legislative committee.

"Yhden Venäjän symbolin, Lada Auran, tuotanto keskeytettiin.
Autoja myytiin alle 800 kappaletta, ja syyskuussa 2025 päätettiin lopettaa tuotanto.

Edes Putinin mainonta ei auttanut – hän ylisti auton hyveitä erityisesti valittujen kääpiöiden ryhmän edessä."
