Kun Suomi saa Naton täyden tuen ammuksille, vastatykistötutkat, kaikki K-9 moukarit ,MLRS Multiple Launch Rocket Systeemit ja tavan tykistölle ohjautuvat ammukset käyttöön, kysyn: millä tykistöllä ryssä tuon tekee?Joten ryssä tykistöllä vetää sileäksi jokaisen kylän ja taajaman josta sitä huoltoa voisi saada.

Kakhovkan padon hanat täysin auki, Dnipr joen pinta noussut alajuoksulla noin metrillä satelliittikuvissa?

Villisikaperhe tekee hetkessä selvää parista örkistä, syövät luutkin. Eikä tarvi olla edes valmiiksi kuolleita... Koko Ukraina on niiden levinneisyysaluetta.
Varsinkin Saksan toimittamiin.

For years, the war on terror dominated displays at the massive Association of the U.S. Army trade show with heavily armored vehicles and ways to protect soldiers from makeshift explosives. But this week, Ukraine’s fight to repel Russia’s invasion highlights new stars of the battlefield, such as small drones or in-demand artillery.
Those weapons aren’t just symbols of Western support and Ukraine’s resistance. They’re also big business for defense firms who have their sights set on the multibillion-dollar plans at a time when capitals around the world want to bolster their arsenals following the invasion. About 23,000 attendees of the annual conference, some from foreign military procurement agencies, came to the show floor to network and check out the products on display.
The Pentagon is taking lessons from Ukraine that it’s pouring into the development of future weapons systems. U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Geoffrey Norman, who oversees efforts to develop and field future ground combat platforms, said the vehicles must have “hemispheric protection” from above. At the same time, Ukraine has shown troops shouldn’t be burdened with bells and whistles on their equipment.
“The systems we develop need to be reliable and durable and simple enough that soldiers who are tired and scared and in contact with the enemy can continue to operate them reliably,” Norman said. “ ‘Tough beats fancy’ is something that comes to mind as a bumper sticker in that space.”
18min ja neljä ammuttu alas. Ei huono!
AeroVironment, the maker of the Switchblade loitering munition Ukraine has used against Russia in recent months, is planning to ramp up production of the heavier-duty version.
Ukraine has had repeated battlefield successes with the Switchblade 300 since the United States shipped it 400 of the lighter-weight loitering munition earlier this year, Charlie Dean, AeroVironment’s vice president of sales and business development, said in an interview with Defense News at the Association of the U.S. Army’s conference on Monday.
And with the larger, more powerful Switchblade 600 on its way to Ukraine — Dean said the first batch of 10 would likely be in the country in the next few weeks — and growing visibility and interest in the weapon, AeroVironment is making preparations to produce more.
According to a statement from Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat, Russia launched “over 83 missiles” in yesterday’s attack on Ukraine — as well as 17 Iranian-supplied Shahed-136 ‘kamikaze drones.’ Of those 83 mainly long-range missiles, the air force claimed it shot down 43. While these numbers can’t be independently verified, the missile assault was clearly on a much greater scale than we have otherwise seen in recent months.
With the primary targets being of a civilian nature, including energy infrastructure, that also means fewer missiles of this kind are available to Russia for high-priority military targets, including hardened ones. Meanwhile, there are plenty of reports that suggest that the Kremlin’s stocks of precision-guided standoff missiles may be running low. With limited production capacity and sanctions hampering their direct replacement, and Moscow already being a customer of Tehran's drones, it’s possible we may start to see Iranian-made ballistic missiles employed by Russia in its war in Ukraine
For Tehran, beyond the much-needed revenue, such a sale would provide another chance to prove some of its increasingly advanced missile technologies in combat. Iran has established sanctions-insulated production lines for a variety of long-range missiles and many of the types would be available almost immediately, as well as being potentially easier to restock in the immediate future. A similar kind of thinking could have underpinned Russia’s reported efforts to obtain North Korean ammunition, too. North Korea could ultimately also be a source of standoff missiles, although Iran remains a far better option for these types of more advanced weapons.
Whatever happens, Russia has shown again that it’s willing to launch long-range strikes against both Ukrainian cities and critical (non-military or dual-use) infrastructure. How long these sorts of campaigns could be sustained will depend not only on its stocks of land-attack missiles (and the possibility of backfilling them) but also on the continued development of Ukraine’s air defenses.
So far, the supply of high-end Western ground-based air defense systems to Ukraine has proceeded only very slowly, while the frequently requested delivery of high-end Western fighter jets has failed to materialize.
Onko enemmänkin suluttamista panssariestein kuin linnoitettuja asemia? Noihin miinoitteet vielä raivausta estämään + joku tulenjontokykyinen joukko taka-alle vartioimaan. Yrittävät ohjata Ukrainaa kiertämään haluamallen puolustussuunnalle, jonne keskittävät pääosan voimistaan.Venäläiset rakentelee linnoitettuja asemia Svatoven kieppeillä.
Jenkkihallinnolle olen kiitollinen kun ovat Ukrainan puolella. Tavalliset jenkit (en tiedä onko suurin osa), on hyvin pihalla Ukrainan tapahtumista ja syyttävät NATOa sodasta. Lisäksi Ukrainan tukeminen on heille vastenmielistä.
The G7 leaders, including U.S. President Joe Biden, condemned the recent Russian attacks and reassured Zelensky that they remain committed to Ukraine for the long haul.
“We reassured President Zelensky that we are undeterred and steadfast in our commitment to providing the support Ukraine needs to uphold its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the statement from the G7 read. “We will continue to provide financial, humanitarian, military, diplomatic and legal support and will stand firmly with Ukraine for as long as it takes. We are committed to supporting Ukraine in meeting its winter preparedness needs.”
Biden, talking directly to Zelensky yesterday, did mention supplying "advanced air defense systems," but we do not know what exactly he was referring to, which could have been the existing NASAMS order.
A White House statement regarding the call said, Biden “expressed his condemnation of Russia’s missile strikes across Ukraine, including in Kyiv, and conveyed his condolences to the loved ones of those killed and injured in these senseless attacks. President Biden pledged to continue providing Ukraine with the support needed to defend itself, including advanced air defense systems.”
Despite an ongoing need for air defenses, Ukraine's existing batteries have managed to provide some level of protection, as the Russians continued their missile and drone barrages Tuesday.
mitä he tarkoittavat "vanhoilla" jenkkien SOF vehkeillä?With Ukrainian forces besieged by Russian artillery and drones, U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) have worked with industry partners to help Ukraine protect its military assets, the head of U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) said Tuesday morning.
“One of the critical pieces is preventing the adversary from them being able to see your positions,” Army Lt. Gen. Jonathan Braga told a group of reporters, including from The War Zone, at the AUSA Conference in Washington D.C. “What’s key is the different forms of artillery out there. I would say we’ve played a supporting role in working with some industry partners to provide” warnings “to protect key assets of the Ukrainian military.”
US SOF has “contributed partly into providing” some of the warnings “for some of the forces on the ground and teaching our Ukrainian counterparts with some old systems that have been fielded,” said Braga. He declined to provide any additional details about which industry partners or the types of systems have been used or developed. But he did say he was “proud” to be part of an effort that moved so quickly.
