MOSCOW, 30 January. /TASS/. Ukraine conducted tests of psychostimulant and narcotic drugs on military personnel, including on the basis of the Military Institute of the Kyiv National University. Taras Shevchenko passed the initial tests of the anti-fatigue drug. This is stated in the presentation of Igor Kirillov, Chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
"Testing medicines on Ukrainian citizens, the facts of the use of psychostimulant and narcotic drugs by military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces of Ukraine - TASS note). <...> Conducting primary clinical trials of the Antifatigue drug," the presentation presented at a briefing on Monday reads on the analysis of documents relating to the military biological activities of the United States.
According to a report that ended up in the Russian Ministry of Defense, five male volunteers weighing about 70 kilograms, under the age of 35, took part in the tests.
Earlier, Kirillov noted that the Russian Ministry of Defense received information about numerous facts of the use of psychostimulants and narcotic drugs, including methadone and amphetamines, by Ukrainian military personnel.
