Something about these images didn't look 100% koshe to me, too much uniformity between the wrecks, and some sharp discontinuties between undamaged wing panels and totally burnt out debris. It occurred to me that we could be looking at digitally altered images (AI fabrications) but I dismissed that idea at the time as simply being wishful thinking. Now however there is scuttlebutt that this is indeed the case, and that when closely analysed the images bear the hallmarks of such manipulations. Alexander Mercouris mentioned this on his recent daily show, but as he admits, he is just repeating what others have said. No sources to list I'm afraid, so no proof, but if true it would fit 100% with the established pattern of Western infowar games, similiar to the known manipulation of the orbital pics of Yuzmash/Yuznoye after the Oreshnik strike (where even pics purchased from "independent" and "commercial" imagery providers were digitally altered to pre-stike conditions).
While such was dismisssed with ridicule at the time, I think its possible that Ryabkov is right and that no bombers were actually destroyed and that what damage was suffered could (and will be) be repaired.
