"I saw, I drop, I fall, I fall", how FPV drones hunt Russians +ENG SUB
FPV drones, or first person view drones (that is, from the first person), are a fairly new type of weaponry in the Ukrainian military. They are used more and more on the front lines.
How to see it? Not very easy if you don't know where the fpv drones are hiding. But if you know, somewhere a few kilometers from the front edge of the trenches, you can see a person in a military uniform and wearing virtual reality glasses, and nearby another one who screws the same homemade bomb, printed on a 3d printer, to a homemade drone and sends it off with it drone towards the front line. Fpv drones are quite cheap — about $400 apiece, and the military themselves often convert them from kamikaze — that is, disposable to reusable.
Now the 225th separate assault battalion is working at the front https://www.instagram.com/sirko_oleg8...
The guys say that here, due to the deployment of drones in the area, the enemy's armored vehicles almost do not drive, because they will be counted immediately and everyone will want to destroy them.
In this report, Nastya Stanko and Kolyan Pastyko observe the work of Ukrainian FPV drones.
