This is a combat video diary shot by soldiers of the 2nd Assault Battalion of the Third Separate Assault Brigade during defensive battles in the city of Avdiivka.

Under enemy fire, the fighters of the 1st company arrived at the designated area and took up positions in the half-destroyed houses of the summer cooperative. Here they had the task of storming, but the enemy began to attack intensively. The forces of the Russian army were numerically superior in terms of personnel, equipment and weapons. Thus began continuous defensive battles that continued for another week.

Shooting the area around, identifying firing points and covering the enemy from the windows of the building is a 24-hour task. In the breaks between firing, shelter from dense enemy fire in the basements. The enemy provoked them to shoot back and waste precious reserves of BC in the conditions of total defense and the risk of complete encirclement.

"Still alive. I say hello to everyone. Good morning everyone, stay in touch with us. Obey your mother and protect the country!", - the words of a soldier Gal after several days of enemy assaults, when the occupiers practically surrounded the positions. Despite the fatigue, the fighters continued to keep their morale at a level.
