Kadyrov complained about Dubai: Chechen special forces were convicted
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced biased refereeing at a special forces tournament in the UAE, organized by the Dubai police. Earlier it became known that after one of the competition days, even Kadyrov’s son Adam received an award, although, as far as is known, he did not participate in the competition, but only supported the fighters. However, according to the results of the entire UAE SWAT Challenge tournament, the Chechen team took only 8th place.
Kadyrov said that “due to unprofessional and biased refereeing, the team was forced to withdraw on the decisive day of the competition.” According to him, one of the judges did not count the result of one of the Chechen participants and refused to watch the video replay. Kadyrov expressed confidence that it was in the exercise that caused controversy that “if everything had turned out fairly, our team would have set another record.”
According to Kadyrov, he will not challenge the final results, but wants to “bring to the attention of the organizers that such judges undermine the authority of the tournament.”
“Fairness and objectivity should be the basis of any competition,” Kadyrov concluded.
