Medvedev clear about the threat of war

In a televised speech to the Russian nation on November 23, President Dmitry Medvedev saying that the Russian leadership is expected that a global nuclear war may break out. 'Invading Iran is invading Russia, China'

A political analyst says Russia and China consider a US military action on Iran as an attack on their own borders and a threat to their own national security.


“The US is assuming that Russia or China will not respond militarily, but they've been wrong before,” Shamus Cooke wrote on the Global Research website.

Cooke explained that when former US president George W. Bush gave the green light to the then President of Georgia Mikheil Saakahvili to attack South Ossetia in 2008, “Russia surprised everyone by responding militarily and crushing Georgia's invasion.”

“Attacking Syria and/or Iran opens the door to a wider regional or even international war,” Cooke stressed.

Last Month, Major General Zhang Zhaozhong, professor from the Chinese National Defense University, said China would not hesitate to protect the Islamic Republic against a military strike, even if this means the start of the Third World War.

Also last week, Russian Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin vehemently criticized any plans of attacking Iran, describing the measure as “a very dangerous scenario” which could lead to a “regional catastrophe.”

The United States and Israel have repeatedly threatened Tehran with the "option" of a military strike, based on the allegation that Iran's nuclear program may consist of a covert military agenda.

Iran has refuted the allegations, saying that as a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it has the right to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

Over the past weeks, Israel has renewed its aggressive rhetoric against Iran. On November 21, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned that "time has come" to deal with Iran.

Israeli President Shimon Peres also threatened on November 6 that an attack against Iran is becoming "more and more likely."

Iranian officials have promised a crushing response to any military strike against the country, warning that any such measure could result in a war that would spread beyond the Middle East.

“If the US becomes militarily involved with Syria and Iran, it is up to the working people of the US to mobilize in massive numbers in the streets to prevent such an attack,” Cooke concluded.

adam älä katso sitä noin karkealla näkökulmalla, vaan ole avoin uutiselle, jota olet voinut odottaa jo jonkin aikaa. Isot mediat eivät pura uutisia kuin niille mieleisistä aiheista, ja sellaisia sä näet iltapäivälehtien sivuilla.

Jos sä haluat lukea pelkästään valtamediaa, niin sitä ei sulta kukaan kiellä, mutta voisit olla hieman enemmän objektiivisempi siihen mitä toinen puoli tiedottaa.

No minä olin everykindapeople sivussa ja siinä oli tekstiä ja mä painin eteenpäin.

Ottamatta sen enempää kantaa hejsanin linkkeihin on kuitenkin sanottava, että tilanne Iran vs Israel/USA on tällä hetkellä oikeasti todella tulenarka.
Suomen ja oikeastaan koko Euroopan media on vain jostain syystä "unohtanut" koko asian todella tehokkaasti.
Tilanne todella on sillä saralla hyvin tulenarka ja vaara sille että kriisi eskaloituu jopa hallitsemattomasti on todella suuri.
Venäjä ja Kiina ovat kumpikin ottaneet useasti todella rajusti kantaa Iranin puolesta. Venäjä aseistaa Irania tällä hetkellä todella voimakkaasti ja nopealla aikataululla jne jne.
On hämmästyttävää, miten Eurooppalainen media on pystynyt sivuuttamaan koko aiheen käytännössä täysin?!
Ainoa kannanotto mitä olen asiasta kuullut on presidenttiehdokas Pekka Haaviston kannanotto, jossa hän totesi suoraan: Nyt on aivan viimeiset hetket saada kyseinen tilanne ratkeamaan neuvottelemalla. (lainaus ei ole sanatarkka, mutta viesti oli tuo)

Riipumatta siitä miten Venäjä, Kiina ja USA toimisivat tuossa tilanteessa olisi sillä kuitenkin melko välitön vaikutus erääseen asiaan, joka on jo valmiiksi kuralla..nimittäin taloustilanteeseen.
Sota Irania vastaan tekisi todella pahaa koko maailman taloudelle sen ollessa jo nyt valmiiksi jokseenkin kuralla. Sillä seikalla saattaisi sitten taas olla kauaskantoiset ja dramaattiset seuraukset.
Se on tietenkin selvää (jos nyt niin voi koskaan sanoa) että sota Iranissa olisi vasta alku ja kehityskulku mahdolliseen laajempaan sotaan olisi varmasti vuoden- parin mittainen ajanjakso. Aivan kuten oli esim WWII:ssakin..ensin pienehköjä sotia ja vasta muutaman vuoden kuluttua kehitys johti varsinaiseen maailmanpaloon.

Aivan liian synkkä näkemys. Talous ei ole ongelma. Iran on maailmankaupassa merkittävä tekijä ainoastaan öljyntuotantonsa osalta ja se puoli kärsisi vain hetkellisesti sodasta. Pieni piikki hinnassa on merkityksetön kokonaisuuden kannalta. Isoja otsikoita tietysti irtoaisi.

Kiinalla puolestaan ei ole toistaiseksi voimia tehdä mitään, eikä myöskään tarvetta, ellei jenkit katkaise öljyn toimituksia Kiinaan. Sellainen tempaus puolestaan ei ole mitenkään tekemisissä Iranin kanssa.

Sekä ensimmäinen, että toinen maailmansota lähti liikkeelle teollistuvien maiden tarpeesta saada energiaa ja raaka-aineita. Tästä on varmasti opittu. Kuvittelisin kaikkien maiden käsittäneen, ettei ovea voi lyödä kiinni nousevan suurvallan edestä.

USA tullee liittämään Iranin imperiumiinsa ilman suurempia vastalauseita. Se tietää merkittäviä taloudellisia hyötyjä Yhdysvalloille useamman vuosikymmenen ajan.
 
Tarkoitatko JOKO, ettei öljynhinnan karkaaminen tuottaisi kohtuullista päänvaivaa jo muutenkin tuksuttavaan maailmantalouteen? Oletko miettinyt, mitä tarkoittaa esim. 200 dollaria tynnöri plus samassa suhteessa noussut kaasun hinta VENÄJÄLLE?

Vaurastumista.

Muutaman kuukauden hintapiikki näkyy ainoastaan huoltoasemilla. Teollisuus ostaa energiansa pidemmillä sopimuksilla. Toki meitä lypsettäisin kahta kauheammin, mutta ei se taloutta hyydyttäisi. Kuluttajat ainoastaan vaihtuisivat. Mitä suuremmaksi käyvät raaka-aineiden katteet, sitä leveämmin raaka-aineita tuottavissa maissa eletään. Me taas vastaavasti joudumme kituuttamaan enemmän.
