Liettuan ja Latvian välillä kulkevassa kaasuputkessa tapahtui perjantaina räjähdys. Asiasta kertoi Reutersin mukaan Liettuan maakaasunsiirrosta vastaava Amber Grid -yhtiö.

Amber Gridin mukaan räjähdys tapahtui Liettuan pohjoisosissa.

Poliisin mukaan liekit alueella ovat n. 50 metriä korkeat

The boat of the Spaniards has still not been picked up from the marina in Górki Zachodnie. Divers took, among others, an underwater drone.


Echoes of the case of three Spaniards who dived in the vicinity of Górki Zachodnie and whom had to be saved by Polish services do not fall silent. As we determined, their boat was not registered anywhere and had no markings. Inactive crew phone numbers were recorded in a police note, and two of the three people probably had already left the country.

Action to rescue divers from Spain on a motorboat​



Recall: on Sunday, just before 2 a.m., operational inspectors from the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center in Gdynia received a report from the State Fire Service in Gdańsk about a sinking unit in the area of the mouth of the Vistula Śmiła.

After more than an hour, rescuers from the Shore Rescue Station in Świbno managed to find the unit in danger. It was located about 2.7 nautical miles (about 5 km) north of the West Hills, on board there were three Spanish citizens who had been diving in the area for at least six hours.

In the end, it turned out that the boat was not sinking, but had a control system failure. The Spaniards and the boat were transported to the port of Górki Zachodnie.

Police officers who dealt with the case determined that:

  • the boat was not equipped with basic elements guaranteeing safety, including navigation lighting, means of communication and rescue measures.
  • The crew of the boat, among other things, did not have the right to drive this unit and did not obtain permission to dive.

In connection with this incident, police officers prepared documentation that was transferred to the Port of Gdansk Captain's Office.

However, there are more and more doubts about the matter. For the men were to say that they sailed to sea because they were looking for amber. The point is that, according to experts, such an "escape" is reliable.

- Amber in the sea in the coastal zone is very quickly covered with sand in ripplemarks [characteristic "wrinkles" on the sand - ed.]. Even after refulation after several dozen hours you will not see a piece underwater. Loosely moving on the bottom amber even near the discharge of bottom sediments at DCT robots is a short-term megarareness - and with such amber equipment you will not find. You need a strong current, storm and counter wind to throw ashore a little for a moment or swim in the shore zone. Cezary Przepiórka, deputy captain of the Port of Gdansk, also has doubts. Our interlocutor points out that the rescue operation takes place near the North Port, near the critical infrastructure.

- The policemen did not see anything suspicious in it and did not dig into the case. The Spaniards were let go, they were not stopped to identify, further explain why they had a vehicle - probably an underwater drone - on the boat, what they were doing there. Only a note was made - says Cezary Przepiórka.

Our interlocutor points out that there is critical infrastructure in the area, e.g. Naftoport carrying out transshipments from oil tankers and petroleum products at the Port of Gdansk, for which the second alarm stage (i.e. bravo) was previously announced.

But that's not all. Another element that raises doubts about the case and speaks for its in-depth examination is the boat that the Spaniards were moving.

A small unit was not registered - except for the lack of a registration document, the boat did not have any markings on board. Despite the shortcomings in the equipment, the crew had expensive diving equipment - including most likely a underwater scooter.

The range of similar devices (in professional versions) is up to 50 km. Underwater it moves at a speed of 18 km / h, on water 20 km / h, and its value in the cheapest version is about 10 thousand dollars. Special services, including Russian ones, were interested in purchasing such equipment.

A small motorboat used by the Spaniards is still mooring at the marina in Górki Zachodnie. Divers took much more valuable equipment, including a drone supporting movement underwater.

Meanwhile, the Port of Gdansk Captain's Office sent a letter to the police to determine the current whereabouts of the Spaniard, who was described in the police note as the helmsman of the unit.

As the deputy captain of the Port of Gdansk explains, the police memo contains telephone numbers that are inactive. What's more, one of them was ten-digit (the standard phone number has nine digits, while written with a prefix to another country should consist of eleven digits).

The interlocutor's account also shows that only one of the three men was identified on the basis of a document (passport), and the others - on the basis of an oral statement (they did not have documents with them).

We determined that before arriving in Gdansk, three Spaniards stayed in summer cottages in Wdzydze Tucholskie. Most likely, two of them have already left Poland.

We contacted the Maritime Border Guard Branch in Gdańsk. We heard that the border guards did not deal with the subject.

In the Provincial Police Headquarters, on the other hand, we were told that the men were identified and there were no grounds for further activities with them.Police officers emphasize that they acted strictly within their competence. Officers were also in contact with the officer on duty of the Port Captain's Office.

We also referred questions to the Internal Security Agency. We are waiting for the position of its officers.

Edit: tai sitten harjoitus on sellainen, josta osallistujat tietävät etukäteen jotain. Valmiusoperaatiosta taas ei anneta mitään ennakkovaroitusta vaan soldathemniin annetaan kuulutus, että kaikki yksiköihin ja sitten kovat piipussa pelipaikoille koko rykmentin voimin.
