The defense forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the onslaught of the Russian occupation forces. By this time, the number of combat engagements had increased to 70. Almost along the entire front line, the enemy increased the number of offensive and assault actions. Ukrainian defenders stand in the way of the attempts of the Russian invaders to break through our defenses and cause them losses.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy from the territory of the Russian Federation continues to carry out airstrikes on populated areas of Ukraine. From the region of Belgorod (Russian Federation), the aggressor hit Grafsky with two anti-aircraft missiles, and another anti-aircraft missile struck Vovchansk.
On the Lymanskyi direction, the enemy attacked eight times during the day in the areas of Makiivka, Nevsky, Druzhelyubivka, and Grekivka. Ukrainian soldiers repulsed three assaults, five more clashes are ongoing. In the vicinity of the Serebryan Forest, the invaders carried out an airstrike with seven NARs.
Three attempts by the enemy to dislodge our units from their positions west of Ivanovsky and near Andriivka in the Kramatorsk direction failed.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian terrorists struck Novopoltavka with a guided aerial bomb.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the largest number of clashes occurred. Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have already carried out 24 attacks on the positions of our troops in the districts of Novooleksandrivka, Yevgenivka, Novoselivka Pershoya, Sokol and Umansky. Enemy aviation is active: the invaders made two strikes with five anti-aircraft missiles on Vozdvizhenka; two more blows by four KABs - on Krynychnaya; Russian terrorists dropped two controlled aerial bombs each on Vodyana Druge, Tarasivka, Nova Poltavka, and Progress; Novoselivka Persha was attacked by one KAB and twelve NARs. The defense forces restrained the onslaught and repelled 18 enemy assaults, six skirmishes are still ongoing.
Fighting continues in the Kurakhiv direction near Krasnohorivka, Georgiivka, Paraskoviivka, Vodyanyi and Kostyantynivka. The total number of attacks here increased to eight, half of them were repelled by our defenders.
In the Vremivsk direction, eight attacks by the occupying army on the positions of units of the Defense Forces were unsuccessful. The battle continues in the Staromayorsky area.
Enemy aviation worked in the afternoon in the direction of Gulyaipil. Varvarivka was hit by one guided bomb, the occupiers hit the village of Charivne with sixteen anti-aircraft missiles.
In the Dnieper direction, the aggressor tried to attack our positions near Krynyk for the fourth time in a day. There was no success.
In the rest of the directions, the situation did not undergo significant changes.
