Viimeisen viikon aikana on kuitenkin Kurskissa menetetty huomattavasti.
Ehkä Ukraina on tehnyt tietoisen päätöksen skaalata alas Kurskin operaatiota, koska mitään reilua neuvottelua ei tulla trumpin avustuksella käymään. Aiotusta neuvotteluvaltista tuli vain painolasti.

Torstaina Euroopan komissio ja Euroopan Investointipankki laittavat hieman vajaa 2 miljardia euroa jonoon Ukrainan energiavarmuuden turvaamiseksi.
