10 vessels are ready for departure in Odesa ports

Ten vessels in the Ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk are loaded with grain and are ready for shipment as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine in a comment to
Economic Pravda.
Seventeen vessels have been loaded in the ports.
"For the first time since 24 February, work has resumed in the sea ports of Ukraine. The ships, which were loaded with grain in the winter, are ready to leave as soon as our partners, the UN and Türkiye, agree on a "green corridor" towards the Bosphorus," said Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.
He noted that grain exports would begin with several ships that have been loaded but were unable to leave port due to the onset of a full-scale Russian invasion.
As
Economic Pravda was informed by the ministry, there are only three ports with 37 ships that are not blockaded due to the start of the full-scale war.
The largest amount of food cargo is in the Port of Chornomorsk (326.8 thousand tons) and Pivdennyi Seaport (169.8 thousand tons). There are another 95.5 thousand tons of agricultural products in the Port of Odessa.
The first insurance contracts have been signed for ships that will transport Ukrainian grain after ports are unblocked. The contracts are necessary for ship owners to send their transport to Ukraine.
An agreement on unblocking Ukrainian ports for grain export was signed in Istanbul on 22 July. Prior to that, on 20 July, the opening ceremony of the Joint Coordination Centre, necessary for the agreement, took place. The Black Sea port may be the first to become operational as part of the lifting of the blockade.
Оn 23 July, Russian troops fired missiles at the Port of Odesa - two missiles shot down the air defence forces, and another two hit the port’s infrastructure facilities.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure’s assessment, the three unblocked Black Sea ports of Ukraine will be able to export about three million tons of agricultural products every month.
