Tilanne tosiaan kehittyy nopeasti ja kartat vanhenevat niitä tehdessä. Mielenkiintoinen tieto tuo, että Mylove ja Chernovy Yar olisi jo menetetty. Tarkoittaisi eiliseen peilaten seuraavan oletetun ryssän puolustustasan jo hävinneen joenreunalta. Seuraava isompi silta olisi Novokairyn kohdalla ja melkoinen suisto kierrettävää, jos ryssä paskoo sillan. Tietenkin voidaan ohittaa kauempaa.

“At the moment, enterprises of the Rostec state corporation are taking all necessary measures to ensure the supply and repair of military hardware. The work involves numerous capacities of the corporation and other industrial enterprises, including nine plants of the Spetsremont Group, which are operational today and have retained manufacturing facilities designed to execute the state defense order,” the press office said.

In particular, the work involves the 261st Refueling and Fuel Truck Repair Plant, the 144th Armor Repair Plant, the 103rd Armor Repair Plant, the 163rd Armor Repair Plant, the 192nd Central Railway Equipment Plant, the 41st Central Railway Equipment Plant. Armor Repair Plants No. 61, 81 and 560 integrated into Uralvagonzavod are repairing and upgrading military hardware in accordance with the program. In addition, specialists from various Rostec groups are currently working at field maintenance and repair centers to repair weapon systems damaged in the course of the special military operation.

According to the press office, in 2017-2018, when the Spetsremont Group was transferred from the Russian Defense Ministry to Rostec, 90% of the group’s repair plants were insolvent or had already entered bankruptcy proceedings. Over the past time, the operating capability and solvency of a significant part of the Spetsremont Group subsidiaries have been restored.

As of today, 12 enterprises integrated into Spetsremont are undergoing bankruptcy proceedings. Their property is being sold in accordance with the bankruptcy law. Assets included in the list of strategic or defense industrial ones are being sold in accordance with the rules for the sale of the property of strategic enterprises. Only those companies that have valid licenses issued by the authorized body for the implementation of the state defense order are allowed to participate in the auction. The buyer will be obliged to preserve the intended purpose of the asset complex and the debtor’s mobilization property and execute the debtor’s state defense contracts.

From imagery published by the MoD we previously confirmed that the AKs procured included: Zastava M70 (or M70B)s, milled receiver M70As, folding stock M70AB2s, Hungarian FEG AK63Ds and East German MPi KMS-72s. The latest photographs released, which appear to have been taken in late July at Salisbury Plain Training Area (SPTA), show a type of rifle we haven’t seen previously – the Type 56-1.

They show rifles with under-folding stocks, stamped receivers, rivet positions and enclosed front sights which indicate them to be Chinese Type 56-1s. Where did the UK procure these rifles from?

They said one was visible in Moscow as well. I assume they shoot up light that scatters in the upper atmosphere, reducing the effectiveness of foreign spy satellites, or possibly they target foreign satellites and over-saturate their cameras.

“It’s our assessment that with the existing GMLRS capability that they have on the HIMARS, and that we’re providing more of with this package, that they can reach the vast majority of targets on the battlefield,” said the deputy assistant secretary of defense for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia. “… including Crimea.”

Cooper said the Pentagon believes Ukraine has used these weapons effectively so far, “creating opportunities to maneuver and advance” and changing “battlefield dynamics,” to reclaim territory and to consolidate their gains.

“The liberation of Lyman was a significant operational accomplishment,” she said.

The weapons package announced Tuesday comes amid new polling showing Americans’ support for increased U.S. diplomacy to end the war growing, and conservative support to fund the war waning.

It is fair to ask how long the United States should provide large-scale military support to Ukraine. Since Russia’s invasion in February, Washington has committed more than $16.8 billion in security assistance. The Biden administration has pledged to support Ukraine “for as long as it takes” and is taking steps to provide longer-term assistance.

U.S. taxpayers, however, are facing high inflation and the prospect of further economic contraction. The United States also has a poor record of recent military aid. Despite more than $80 billion of U.S. support over two decades, Afghanistan’s forces collapsed as the Taliban swept into Kabul last year. Should future U.S. assistance be measured in months, or at most a few years, especially if Ukraine is no longer in danger of being overrun by Russia?

The short answer is no. If the United States provides long-term assistance—likely for more than 10 years, not only could Ukraine secure its future against a revanchist Russia, Washington could gain a first-rate military partner. Because of its legitimate government, capable leaders, level of socio-economic development, highly motivated public, and combat experience, among other factors, Ukraine has a strong foundation on which to build. As a result, U.S. support could have an exponential impact on Ukrainian military capabilities. The United States would be a major beneficiary, allowing U.S. forces to focus on potential conflicts outside of Europe over the coming years.

Recent history is illustrative. In Afghanistan, U.S. efforts to create a proficient military were akin to building on quicksand. The Afghan government lacked popular legitimacy. Pervasive corruption and cronyism deprived units of good leadership, manpower, and material. Afghanistan’s underdevelopment, including widespread illiteracy, compounded these problems, making training and maintaining equipment all the more difficult. The result was demoralized, ill-equipped troops in much of the force. It is no surprise that many soldiers did not fight during the decisive Taliban drive on the capital.

UA tekee mitä A-maa ei pystynyt tekemään. Virallisia jenkkisaappaita ei ole näkynyt sotimassa, mutta kansalaiset on nurisemassa kun inflaatio jyllää.

Venäjän presidentin Vladimir Putinin allekirjoittamien Luhanskin ja Donetskin kansantasavallan adoptiolakien mukaan LDNR :n asukkaiden kansalaisuus päättyy päivästä, jolloin alueet hyväksytään Venäjän federaatioon.

Asiakirjassa todetaan myös, että Venäjän uusien venäläisten alueiden asukkaita aletaan kutsua asepalvelukseen vuodesta 2023 alkaen.

Olikos vielä niin että Venäjä ei kaksoiskansalaisuuksia itse hyväksy ? Putkosesta tuli tai tulee nyt itsekin ryssä ja Suomen passin arvo ryssien silmissä on sitten puhdas nolla. Eli Janus kutsuntojen ja pakko-ottojen kautta etulinjaan vain.

Kiovan hallinnon militanteille annetaan pian ratkaiseva isku. Nyt Venäjän joukot keräävät voimia. Tämän totesi maavoimien entinen komentaja eversti kenraali Vladimir Chirkin .


Hän korosti, että on tullut aika käyttää uusia aseita, sillä Naton tiedustelu valvoo RF-asevoimien jokaista askelta, kaikkia joukkojen liikkeitä. Lisäksi Ukrainan asevoimat on aseistettu amerikkalaisilla HIMARS-monilaukaisurakettijärjestelmillä, M777-haupitseilla, joiden kaliiperi on 155 mm.

"Tässä asiassa haluaisin kysyä: missä on Peresvet-laserkompleksimme? Sama "insinööri Garinin hyperboloidi", joka voi valaista geostationaarisella kiertoradalla olevia optoelektronisia satelliitteja, jotka suorittavat visuaalista valvontaamme ja voivat ampua alas minkä tahansa lentokoneen - suuren. ja pienet", Chirkin kysyi MK:n haastattelussa.

Propagandaosasto on saanut tehtäväksi koristella Karhumäen nimellä kuormurin, vielä suomalaisille mukavan helppolukuisesti länsiaakkosilla. Ilmeisesti käsky annettu suullisesti kun sattui pikku virhe. Näinköhän kävisi sieltä kotoisin oleville?

Sattumalta muuten Putkosen twitteriin ilmestyi tarinaa näistä karjalaisista heti kun pari päivää aiemmin esille pulpahti kuvia Venäjän karjalan mobilisaatiosta. Heti päätyneet sitten Ukrainaan ja just sinne missä Putkonen sattuu olemaan. Jännä.
