We reported earlier that Lviv in western Ukraine had also suffered a number of blasts on Monday morning.
Now, the city's mayor Andriy Sadovy has said there are outages with "mobile communication" - but stressed these are "temporary".
He added: "Outages with mobile communication in the city are temporary. The operator says he will restore it now."
Mr Sadovy urged those in the city, near Poland, to remain in shelters as air raid sirens continue.
"Learning in Lviv schools today is distance learning," he said.
"The online lesson will start one hour after the alarm ends."
Dmytro Kuleba today warned that Russia "will not" break Ukraine down, adding that Vladimir Putin "is a terrorist who talks with missiles".
He said: "Multiple Russian missile strikes across Ukraine. Putin's only tactic is terror on peaceful Ukrainian cities, but he will not break Ukraine down.
"This is also his response to all appeasers who want to talk with him about peace: Putin is a terrorist who talks with missiles."
Steven Pifer, an analyst and former US ambassador to Ukraine, has insisted Vladimir Putin "does not want nuclear war" - as he gave his insight on the threat.
He said Moscow simply "wants Ukraine and the West to believe Russia is ready for nuclear war to intimidate them".
Mr Pifer said: "Putin often talks about nuclear weapons, even when not making threats. He likes to remind [the] world that Russia has lots of nukes.
"They constitute Russia's strongest claim to great power status, and Putin and [the] Kremlin seek to project [the] image of Russia as [a] great power."
He added that while nuclear talk is frightening, Western leaders need to "consider what happens if they give in to Putin's veiled threats".
"He will have learned [his] lesson, and the West should then anticipate more nuclear threats from Russia. Fortunately, [the] US and European leaders seem to understand this."
Mr Pifer then outlined three reasons "to think Russia will not use nukes".
He says these are:
- It is not obvious nuke use in Ukraine would have decisive military impact;
- The Pentagon sees no change in Russia's nuclear posture;
- Russian nuclear use would alienate China, India and Global South.
A Ukrainian woman has offered a heart-rending reply to billionaire Elon Musk's suggestion this week that Ukraine should sacrifice land in order to end the war.
It came in the 49th episode of Ukraine War Diaries, which tells the story of the conflict in often uplifting, but sometimes hard-to-hear accounts from the ground.
The latest episode falls into the latter category as we hear from Oksana in Kyiv, who reflects on an image we told you about in this live blog earlier in the week.
"This morning I saw this picture of dental fixtures that contained gold, found in one of the torture chambers in one of the freed villages in the Kharkiv region.
"I don't really have words to describe how it feels."
Oksana then addresses Musk...
"Actually, one of the things that was most upsetting over the past couple of days was Elon Musk's tweet.
"It really reflects that there are still many people that don't understand the nature of this war and the possible consequences. It's not only about the national rights of Ukrainians for freedom, it's a war of totalitarianism versus democracies.
"They want the power, they don't care about the people, they don't care a single little bit about you. They just use you and they will let you die without a single sentiment.
"I wish people understood."
Itse ainakin näen tuomionpäivän koneen Moskovassa, tosin maassa. Ovatko muut missanneet tuon jotenkin?Mitäs Vanja puuhaa
