That is, Russian culture, I repeat, reacts very painfully to the semantic "bottom" - to black humor, all sorts of verbal provocations and radical images of any kind - and all the time tries to take them literally and head-on, to meet them as a terrible threat to itself. It is interesting.
Where does it come from?
I think this desire arises from the fact that we here - historically and traditionally - live badly and terribly.
We are constantly balancing on the brink of collapse and hell, and that is exactly why people want to at least pretend that "everything is fine."
"Negative" (very different) as a conscious gesture - is a property of human well-being. And that is why the West, aware of its own strength, the strength of its own rules of the game, easily treats a fight or a provocation as a convention, as a game - political, newspaper, symbolic. He is not afraid of her (or was not afraid - now something has changed there too).
In our country, where there are no rules, but axes are sharpened and used many times, a symbolic conflict is perceived as real, and a real conflict is perceived as a harbinger of the end of everything, and they try to suppress it even in those cases when it is inevitable, not to mention antics of clowns or radicals.
This fear is understandable, but it is a weakness.
And our strength will begin when everyone here can yell what he likes, including rather vile game - and, surprisingly, the overall structure will only be stronger from this.
But so far, to the general naive joy, this does not shine for us.

Mielenkiintoinen ryssähuhu tämä GPS-tarkkuuden saaminen UA:n omiin raketteihin.

Ensimmäisenä tulee mieleen se muutama päivä sitten nähty Ukrainan 300 mm MLRS, jossa on isot kymmenien kilojen taistelukärjet. Jospa tuohon saataisiin istutettua. Mutta voi olla, että tuo GPS ohjaus vaatii niin täydellistä remonttia rakettien suunnitteluun, ettei mikään vanha soviet-pohja siihen enää kelpaa.

Toivotaan että ryssähuhussa on perää.

Jo usemamman kerran Ukraina on höynäyttänyt Venäjää julkisilla tiedotteilla.

Nyt sitten kovasti valiteltiiin vaikeuksia Bakhmutin suunnalla joka on ainoa paikka missä Venäjän hyökkäys edistyy.

Prigozhin innostui tästä. Presidenttipeliin tai muuhun valtataisteluun oli saatavilla loistava saavutus. ja hän laittoi kaiken peliin Bakhmutissa.

Mutta Ukrainalla olikin hyvä puolustus siellä ja Venäjän joukkojen tuhoaminen aloitettiin kun niitä oli kertynyt sinne tarpeeksi.

Jos pitää paikkansa, niin aika paljon hyviä ryssiä luvassa.

Pohdin tätä yön yli. Arviointimenetelmässä on mielestäni yksi vika: se olettaa että kaikki pika-avioliitot on ns. susiparien eli avoliitossa asuvien 19-49 -vuotiaiden solmimimia ja ekstrapoloi siitä koko väestöön prosenttikertoimella.

Totuushan varmasti on, että osa naimisiin menneistä ei asunut yhdessä vaan kumpikin tahollaan, vanhempien nurkissa tms. Tämä sit johtaa siihen, että yliarvioidaan se osuus susipareista jotka on menneet pikana naimisiin --> yliarvioidaan mobilisoitujen määrä.

Jos jollakulla olisi edes karkea arvio siitä, missä suhteessa erillään asuvat ja avoliitossa on edustettu naimisiin menneiden tilastossa niin ton luvun voi kertoa sillä arviolla. Esim. jos 66% ois avoliittopareja niin arvio mobilisaation koosta ois 0.66*X.

Alla Khersonin Dnipron Deltalla aktiivista laivaliikennettä. Roudaavat siis Khersonista varastettua kamaa laskelmiensa mukaan turvallisinta reittiä pois.

Tuota, sellaista asiaa olen tässä miettinyt jo pitkään, että kuinka paljon länsi tukee Ukrainan omaa asetuotantoa? Eli Ukraina hoitaa suunnittelun ja kasaamisen (sekä osan osien tuotannosta) ja länsi avittaa kehityksessä sekä toimittaa sellaiset osat ja komponentit, joita on hankala valmistaa Ukrainassa?

Tämä on taas NIITÄ kysymyksiä...

Tässä ryssähuhussa saattaa olla jokunen osa totta.
Ei ole salaisuus, että kansainvälisissä joukoissa on runsaasti (satoja?) puolalaisia.
Perustavat varmaan puolankielisiä joukkueita, ehkä komppanioitakin.

Nybergissä esiintyneen Ralf Sirenin mukaan oli erinäisiä syitä, ettei suomalaisia pistetty isoa porukkaa yhteen. Ei enenpää avannut.
En oikein usko, että siellä kerättäisiin mitään suomalais-, tai puolalaisjoukkueita.
Olisi kyllä varmaan helpompaa komentojen ja taktiikoiden kannalta.
