Venäläiset jaksavat edelleen kehitellä tarinoita ukrainalaisten ydinterrorismista. Tällä kertaa FSB:n kerrotaan pidättäneen ukrainalaisen johtaman ryhmän joka olisi yrittänyt ostaa 3,5 miljoonalla dollarilla kilon cesium-137:ä. Cesium olisi tarinan mukaan käytetty lavastukseen Ukrainassa syyttäen tapahtuneesta Venäjää.

MOSCOW, 23 June. /TASS/. The FSB detained five people who, under the coordination of a Ukrainian citizen, were trying to acquire 1 kg of a radioactive substance for $3.5 million. They were going to take it abroad and use it in a special military operation zone to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction. This was reported to TASS on Friday at the Center for Public Relations (CSP) of the FSB of Russia.
"The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, with the power support of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, while illegally acquiring a radioactive substance for the purpose of smuggling it out of the Russian Federation, caught red-handed five members of an organized criminal group operating under the coordination of a citizen of Ukraine," the CSO said.
"According to the data obtained during the development, the criminal group, acting in the interests of a foreign customer, took steps to bypass legal prohibitions and restrictions on 1 kg of the cesium-137 isotope for $ 3.5 million in order to smuggle the radioactive substance from the Russian Federation abroad to be used to the detriment of Russian interests in the course of the NMD, conducting an information and propaganda campaign to discredit the country in the international arena by organizing staged scenes of the use of weapons of mass destruction," the FSB noted.
Based on the results of the operational-search activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, a criminal case was initiated under Art. 220 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal handling of radioactive substances) and art. 30, art. 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (preparation for the smuggling of radioactive substances). "The suspects have been taken into custody and are making confessions," the CSO added.
