Fighting in Marinka has been going on for more than a year. During this time, the Russians managed to advance deep into the city, but did not capture it. Our defenders continue to defend and hold back enemy attacks every day.
This is the first report from Maryinka in the last 10 months. During the day of our stay, we experienced for ourselves what it's like when the enemy is 20 meters away, and they work on you with everything they have.
See Anna Kalyuzhnaya's report on how our defenders manage the battle and repel the Russians.

The counteroffensive continues, and every meter of ground is being retaken by the Armed Forces with extraordinary efforts. Even a few trenches in the forest are a matter of careful planning, artillery work, aerial reconnaissance and sweeps. We visited one such combat mission of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade. Having sent the guys on an assault, they watched the battle from a nearby command post.
The soldiers had GoPro cameras with them and captured unique footage of the assault. Fortunately, he was unhurt. And even managed to replenish the exchange fund. How it looks live - in Anna Kalyuzhnaya's report.

During the counteroffensive at the beginning of June, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Neskuchne and Storozheve in Donetsk region. The soldiers who took part in the liberation recreated the sequence of combat operations and told how the de-occupation took place. They showed the places of battles, told about the tactics of the enemy and explained why during the counteroffensive, which began in the spring, it takes more time to liberate our cities and villages.
What a counteroffensive looks like on the example of Storozhevy and Neskuchny — in the report of Anna Kalyuzhnaya.

28:00 - how Russians behave now
"Ukrainian Witness" filmed the storming of Russian positions in the Bakhmut direction: how our guys from the 80th ODSHBr advance on a combat mission, approach the enemy trenches - and at what cost do they complete the task.
- How did the assault end?
- What did 20-year-old Mykola say before his first outing?
- Why is it dangerous for our military to use trenches retaken from the enemy?
Our journalists also spoke with medics of the 80th ODSHBr:
Why do injured fighters refuse to evacuate from the battlefield? What happens to them when they are evacuated after all?
What can combat paramedics never get used to?
What procedures are carried out for fallen soldiers?

"Form matters!" - under this name, samples of women's field uniforms were tested, which were finally approved by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and will be introduced for women soldiers.
The women's uniform was tested thanks to the "Arm Women Now" social initiative, which closely cooperates with units of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the National Police and the State Border Service.
They have been providing the Defenders on the front lines with comfortable and convenient women's field uniforms since the beginning of full-scale war. Yes, more than 4,500,000 military women received uniforms for free.
This is the first social initiative in Ukraine that raised the issue of gender support in the army and achieved the adoption at the level of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine of technical documentation for sewing underwear for military women based on our developments.

Fighting continues in the direction of Bakhmut. The first mechanized battalion of the 3rd OSHBR storms the trenches occupied by the enemy, the 28th brigade lands an infantry landing under the cover of BMP.
Combat helicopters of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are operating.
The pilot of the 1st mechanized battalion and the TERRA unit provide support for the attack with unmanned reconnaissance and adjust fire support.
Result: the enemy in the composition of at least one company was sent to Kobzon or surrendered. A small group was lucky to escape.
Several hundred meters of Ukrainian land have been liberated!
They decided to make a small cut of the "warm welcome" of the occupiers. The pilots of the K-2 battalion do not let the Russians rest for a second. For this, we use all possible methods and ammunition for drops. Enjoy yourself.

Bilohorivka. Today, this settlement in Luhansk region is the last major village controlled by the Ukrainian military.
Recently, the situation in the Luhansk axis has been most tense in SEREBRIANSKE forestry and Bilohorivka itself, the latter of which has been under the control of the Ukrainian military since June 2022.
Since November, the defense of Bilohorivka has been carried out by guardsmen of ‘Bureviy’ presidential brigade. The defenders call it an outpost of Luhansk region, as its control allows them to disperse a large number of russians in several directions in the east.
This village has been almost wiped out today. Defensive actions here are surprisingly difficult for our military, because almost all tall buildings that can be used for observation and fire are destroyed.
Watch the video to find out how our guardsmen manage to hold the fortress in Luhansk region, where the enemy is attacking from and how they are captured by Ukrainian defenders.
At the age of 21, Manus managed to visit the war in Afghanistan and Ukraine. Last year, he was wounded near Zaporozhye and almost completely lost his sight. Having recovered from his injuries, Manus and his brother Paul Gray arranged a meeting at the Museum of Local Conflicts. The boys handed over to the museum personal belongings that remained after their last fight together.
How does the war in Ukraine differ from other wars? Why did an American go to fight for Ukraine and not leave even after being wounded, which is not compatible with military service?
Night operations using heavy strike drones continue. This time the target is a 120-mm mortar platoon. It is their calculation of the pilots that needs to be struck this night. What came out of it - you will find out in the video.
In the new report of "Ukrainian Pravda" from the front, we show the assault operation of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the moment the troops left for the mission to the entry into the enemy landing, waiting for the shelling, taking prisoners (who turned out to be Ukrainians from occupied Luhansk) and returning home.
To create this story, we used our own videos recorded on the KSP and at the stabilization point. And also recordings from GoPro cameras attached to fighters and from drones that accompanied the assault.
During these 16 hours, we heard laughter, snoring, hundreds of "exits to the radeika", the passage of tanks, the arrival of "Grads" and the most terrible words in the world: "I can't understand where the 200th is".

Join us as we dive into the intense training regimen of Ukraine's 128th Mountain Assault Brigade, led by the inspiring drill sergeant, Bohdan. In the face of brutal frontline risks, these soldiers prepare themselves for the main thrust of the counteroffensive against Russian entrenchments. Scripps News international correspondent, Jason Bellini, reports from Zaporizhia, Ukraine.
Ryan Hendrickson, a retired Special Forces Engineer of the U.S. Army arrived to Ukraine to help with demining. His initiative Tip of The Spear helped to remove thousands of mines from farms and infrastructure across Ukraine and to train and equip Ukrainian sappers.
Ryan was impressed by the sheer number of mines planted on the de-occupied territories, their density and precision. It is not the first time a country at war faces the challenges with mining, but it is certainly the biggest scale since WW2. We talked to Ryan and asked about his experience and opinion on when Ukrainians will be able to cone back to normal life and what should be done to enable it.

Today we bring to your attention the first part of the "Offensive" trilogy, in the framework of which we will show the counteroffensive operation of the Third Assault Brigade in the direction of Bakhmut.
In this video footage, you can see how, in early May, fighters of the 3rd OShBr captured enemy positions, advancing on an area 3 km wide and 2.6 km deep.
There is no time for hesitation and reflection. It is necessary to act quickly, coherently and confidently:
- This is our maximum task, should we take this bitch?
- Yes!
- Then we will take it!
Advancing forward, the attack aircraft of the 3rd OShBr clear enemy dugouts, secure positions, destroy the enemy's manpower and capture the occupiers. In addition, fighters acquire trophies in the form of equipment and weapons, in particular, a large-caliber Utyos machine gun was captured. They also quickly evacuate wounded comrades who are picked up by medevacs, providing the necessary first aid.
The film shows how the headquarters works, which manages the operation online, interacting with the units involved in the execution of combat tasks on the battlefield. In the video, you will see shooting battles with the enemy at a distance of several meters, the operation of heavy armored vehicles and the BM-21 "Grad", fragments of the first interrogation of a prisoner and enemy infantry fleeing from the battlefield under the powerful onslaught of fighters of the 3rd OShBr.
As a result of the combat operation, the fighters of the Third Assault Division defeated the 6th and 8th companies of the 72nd Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation and the brigade intelligence, taking a significant number of the occupants as prisoners. The fighters also destroyed many armored fighting vehicles of the enemy. The third assault unit of Wagner's PvC suffered serious losses. The counteroffensive of the Third Assault Brigade continues.
