When the Dnipro froze in winter, units of the Defense Forces faced the problem of how to deliver food and ammunition to the left bank of the Kherson region, where the Ukrainian military held a bridgehead. This aspect of logistics was obviously not thought through when planning the operation. Drones came to the rescue. BpLA units from the right bank began to deliver medicine, food and ammunition to the left bank by drones.

One of these units is the FPV-department of the 37th Marine Corps Brigade. As their commander, Demon, recalls, they made 23 sorties in one winter day - this was their record.

"The boys were satisfied when they received provisions and medicines that had to be delivered urgently. FPV saved us then," says Demon about working in the winter.

Later, the Russians understood the plan of the Ukrainian drones and tried to harm such a delivery. They also began to drop allegedly parcels containing grenades without a check on Ukrainian positions. That is why the Ukrainian military wrapped parcels with tape to mark their transmissions.

"The Russians understood that when the water froze, it all began to be done with the help of drones," Demon says.

Beginning of February 2024. Due to the critical situation in Avdiivka, the Third Assault Division is transferred there to reinforce Ukrainian units. Fighters of the 3rd OShBr enter the city and, having stabilized the line of combat, stand on the defensive.

Considering the risk of encirclement of the units of the Armed Forces in Avdiivka, the command decides to withdraw the defense forces from the city. The task of the Third Assault Group is to become a rear guard and ensure the withdrawal of the Armed Forces, holding one of the flanks.

In the video, shot on a GoPro camera, the soldiers of the Third Assault Division conduct heavy shooting defensive battles. It is necessary to maintain the defense on the ruins of former homes of local residents.

The occupiers have a serious advantage in weapons and equipment. They use anti-aircraft guns, mortars, artillery, cluster munitions, FPV drones. Having a numerical advantage, they do not spare the infantry. The defenders of Avdiivka had to repulse endless attacks, holding their positions in conditions of lack of BC, provisions, and water. For sleep - several hours a day, it is necessary to control the flanks at 360 degrees.

The footage shows the gloomy atmosphere of a bombed-out Ukrainian city. But despite the extremely difficult battles, the fighters manage to keep a high fighting spirit and not lose their sense of humor, because reliable comrades fight shoulder to shoulder. For individual fighters, Avdiivka was the first combat outing, where they proved themselves 100%, clearly fulfilling the assigned tasks.

During the fighting in Avdiivka, fighters of the 3rd OShBr inflicted serious losses on the Russian strike group. Thanks to the heroism and high combat capability of the soldiers of the brigade, the enemy failed to surround the Ukrainian forces in Avdiivka. The third assault unit carried out the order, ensuring the withdrawal of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and only after that the fighters of the 3rd OSHbr left the city.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST to save the life of a FIGHTER on the front lines? The work of the medical service of the "Azov" brigade CRAF EVENT

Yevgeny "Chudik" Chudnetsov became the head of the medical service of the 12th special purpose brigade "Azov" after he came out of the second captivity. Together with their team, they set an ambitious goal - to become the best brigade-level medical service in Ukraine.

Today, the "Azov" medical service is a place where innovations are applied, new rules are introduced, statistics are kept, bureaucracy and stupidity are fought, and financing is found for things that, at first glance, may seem expensive. But only for people who don't know how to count: in fact, 1 Casevac, 1 Wounded Triage Point and 1 Forest Stabpost together cost less than the payment for 1 dead. However, these things together with trained staff and motivated doctors will save more than a dozen lives and help preserve health.

The Dark Truth About the Olenivka Prison Massacre

On the night of July 28-29, 2022, in colony No. 12 in the temporarily occupied Olenivka, Donetsk region, Russians blew up the barracks with Azov POWs. This vicious terrorist act claimed the lives of 53 captured Ukrainian warriors. More than a hundred were injured.
