Tästä tulee mieleen, että jokunen vuosi sitten luin erään RAF:n pilotin muistelmat. Oli palvellut mm. Länsi-Saksassa 50-luvulla. Kertoili että kun kerran tukikohdassa vietettiin avoimien ovien päivää, oli paikalle kutsuttu paikallisen saksalaisen ala-asteen oppilaita viettämään mukavaa päivää ja toki nauttimaan brittien hyväntahtoisuudesta. Ohjelmassa oli sitten loppuhuipennuksena Hawker Hunterilla lennetty taitolentoesitys. Sattui vaan niin, että pilotiksi oli valikoitunut joku WW2:n veteraani, joka vihasi saksalaisia kuin ruttoa. Koneen siipiin oli asennettu tehokeinoksi savupodit antamaan näyttävyyttä. No, kyseinen pilotti "piirsi" sitten henkilökohtaisena protestinaan koneellaan taivaalle jättimäisen k*rvän ja kassit. :confused:

Tuosta tulee mieleen tarina Rissalasta missä mig-pilotti Kuopion yllä lentäessään huomasi että Jättövanaa muodostuu hyvin, ja mig-pilotti päätti sitten hiukan kaarrella Kuopion yllä. Laskeutuessaan takaisin Rissalaan mig-pilotti sai heti käskyn mennä komentajan puheille, komentaja sitten ärjyi mig-pilotille "että sinäkö se p*rkele piirsit kirkkoveneen sinne Kuopion torin yläpuolelle?" :D

Voiko sokea mies katsella lapsipornokuvia? Tuomarin mukaan voi. Syytetyn penkillä istuva Andrew Shaw, 44, puolustautuu, että ei nähnyt mitä katsoi.

Blackpoolissa Britanniassa asuvan Shaw'n tietokoneelta löytyi 71 pornokuvaa, joissa esiintyi alle 16-vuotiaita lapsia. 12 kuvista oli tuomarin mukaan "pahimpia mahdollisia".

"Epätavallinen tapaus"

Syytetyn asianajajan mukaan kyseessä on epätavallinen tapaus, koska hänen asiakkaansa on rekisteröity virallisesti sokeaksi.

- Toisessa silmässä ei ole näköä lainkaan, toisessa on näköä hyvin vähän, sanoi asianajaja Allan Cobain.

- Koska hänen näkönsä on hyvin rajoitettu, hänen on mahdotonta erottaa kuvissa esiintyvien ikää. Hän on saattanut kuvitella katsovansa kuvia, joissa esiintyy yli 16-vuotiaita, sanoi Cobain.

Oikeudessa selvisi, että Shaw on ollut tarkkailussa jo vuoden ajan. Syyttäjä kertoi, että ennen syytteen nostamista tapausta harkittiin perusteellisesti.

Shaw vapautettiin takuita vastaan. Oikeudenkäynti jatkuu myöhemmin.

Britannia ei vetäydykään EU:n sotilasoperaatioista

Britannia aikoo jatkaa sotilasyhteistyötä EU:n kanssa Brexitin jälkeenkin, Britannian hallitus linjaa. Hallituksen dokumenttia siteeraavat BBC ja Financial Times.

Tähän saakka Britannia on uhannut vetäytyä EU:n puolustus- ja turvallisuusoperaatioista, jos maa ei saa riittävän hyvää erosopimusta. Britannia on ilmoittanut eroavansa EU:sta maaliskuun lopussa 2019.

Britannia ilmoittaa jatkossa noudattavansa EU:n pakotepolitiikkaa ja hakevansa yhteistä linjaa EU:n kanssa myös ulkopolitiikassa. Se aikoo tarjota EU:lle "syvää turvallisuusyhteistyötä" terrorismin, kyberrikollisuuden, laittoman maahanmuuton ja perinteisen sotilaallisen hyökkäyksen estämiseksi.

– Yhteinen etumme on työskennellä läheisesti EU:n ja sen jäsenmaiden kanssa, sanoo Britannian Brexit-ministeri David Davis.

Britannia on tukenut EU:n sotilasoperaatioita esimerkiksi Libyassa ja Somaliassa. Britannialla oli merkittävä rooli, kun EU valmisteli kantaansa Iranin ydinohjelmaan ja asetti Venäjän-vastaisia pakotteita.

Radical imam told children 'martyrdom was supreme success', court hears

A radical imam voiced support for Isil and told children at his mosque that "martyrdom was the supreme success" and better than anything they would achieve at school or college, a court has heard.

Kamran Hussain, 40, allegedly made a series of radical sermons over four months last year encouraging terrorism and supporting Isil in Syria.

Hussain, of Knightsbridge Way, Tunstall, who denies the charges, had also posted his views on social media, jurors at the Old Bailey heard.

In a post in March last year, he allegedly made an apparent reference to IS saying it was "knocking on your door" and if you were "enraged" by it, "then our message is simple: Die your rage".

His Friday lunchtime speeches at the charity-funded mosque in Tunstall High Street, Stoke on Trent, were in front of around 40 worshippers, often including children aged under 15, jurors heard. He is alleged to have voiced support for Islamic State and told children at his mosque that martyrdom was the "supreme success" and better than anything they would achieve at school or college.

He was arrested after an undercover law enforcement officer secretly recorded sermons from June last year.

At a meeting on August 19 last year, there were up to 15 children present and 25 adults as he gave a sermon about "Kuffar" or non-Muslims, the court heard.

Hussain allegedly blamed the British government for creating the English Defence League and funding them to "insult" Muslims and put them down.

He also claimed far right group Britain First was a "government-backed project", jurors heard.

In all, the undercover officer known as Qasim attended 17 sermons, 10 of which had "strayed beyond the mainstream moderate Islamic thought", Prosecutor Sarah Whitehouse QC said.

On July 22, last year, he prayed for all to live under Sharia law and urged his listeners to stand against sinners, oppressors and infidel, the court heard.

He allegedly urged them to "finish them and remove their heads for what they do", adding: "When you don't fulfil the command of Allah, I'm coming to remove your head."

On August 5 last year he allegedly spoke in favour of engaging in jihad to "take over a land" and "stand the black flag".

He allegedly said that neither the "Queen or prime minister" could stand in the way of the law of Allah.

In a recording retrieved from Hussain's phone, he also allegedly predicted the "black flag" would "rise over Big Ben and Downing Street".

After he was arrested in February, Hussain issued a short statement saying the ability to discuss "difficult concepts in a challenging world!" is an essential part of exercising religion and freedom of speech.

Hussain, from Tunstall, denies eight charges, two of supporting Isil and six of encouraging terrorism on dates between June and September last year. The trial continues.

Parsons Green: 'Explosion' reported on London Tube train

Police are investigating an "incident" on a District Line underground train at Parsons Green, south-west London.

Officers and ambulance staff are on the scene following reports on social media of an "explosion" in a carriage.

A picture on social media showed a white bucket inside a supermarket bag, but does not appear to show extensive damage in the carriage.

Transport for London tweeted: "We are investigating an incident at Parsons Green."

The UK terror threat has been increased to the highest level following the attack on a Tube train in south-west London, the prime minister has said.

Theresa May said the threat had been upgraded from severe to critical - meaning an attack is expected imminently.

Senior EDL leader who campaigned against child grooming is convicted of abducting schoolgirl
A senior English Defence League leader who blamed Muslim gangs for abusing children has been convicted of abducting a schoolgirl.

Paul Whiteside, the EDL lead for Lincolnshire, campaigned against child grooming claiming gangs linked to mosques were responsible for abusing young girls.

But yesterday Whiteside admitted abducting a 15-year-old.

The court also heard he had photographs of the girl partly clothed in a bath, reports the Grimsby Telegraph.

The 47-year-old organised protests and rallies for the far right wing group and was the self-appointed director of three factions, including Louth EDL and Lincolnshire EDL.

Last year, after a Lincoln mosque was plastered with anti-Islam posters by EDL members, Whiteside defended the attack claiming mosques were sheltering "grooming gangs all over the UK".

Kyseessä siis Royal Marine Commandos. Ohjelmasarjassa keskityttiin aika paljon pelkkiin kuntotesteihin. Varsinainen taistelukoulutus jätettiin näyttämättä, ilmeisesti salaussyistä?

Theresa May has accused Russia of meddling in elections and planting fake stories in the media in an extraordinary attack on its attempts to “weaponise information” in order to sow discord in the west.

The prime minister spoke out against “the scale and nature” of Russia’s actions during an address at the lord mayor’s banquet, saying it was “threatening the international order on which we all depend”.

Listing Russia’s attempts to undermine western institutions in recent years, she said: “I have a very simple message for Russia. We know what you are doing. And you will not succeed. Because you underestimate the resilience of our democracies, the enduring attraction of free and open societies, and the commitment of western nations to the alliances that bind us.

“The UK will do what is necessary to protect ourselves, and work with our allies to do likewise.”

Her speech is a serious escalation of the UK’s warnings about Russia as Boris Johnson, the foreign secretary, prepares to visit Moscow before the end of the year as part of a strategy of cautious engagement with Vladimir Putin’s administration.

Since Russia’s annexation of Crimea from Ukraine, May said Russia had “fomented conflict in the Donbass [eastern Ukraine], repeatedly violated the national airspace of several European countries, and mounted a sustained campaign of cyber-espionage and disruption”.
