At Eurosatory 2018, Welp Armouring unveiled the H6 Pro Helmet. This combat helmet from Welp Armouring offers unprecedented bullet resistance according to VPAM HVN 2009 protection class 6. This is equivalent to ballistic protection against calibre 7.62 x 39 mm ammunition. This exceptionally high ballistic protection is provided throughout the helmet’s entire surface area of 1,335 cm².

This makes the H6 Pro unique in its category. In contrast to the common frequently used protective helmets, the H6 Pro offers unrestrictedly high 360° protection. Thus, the helmet wearer is completely protected even in the edge areas. Conventional helmet manufacturers often use different materials or deliberately abandon protection of the edge areas.

This unique feature will soon be tested and certified by the German Beschussamt according to the latest VPAM guideline. The H6 Pro combat helmet has an adjustable belt system, which secures it reliably against accidental slipping. Thanks to the padded inserts, the H6 Pro also offers a high degree of wearing comfort, which can be adjusted to different head
circumferences from 51 to 65 cm by using the built-in flexible belt system. The belt system is also very easy to use and constructed for one-handed adjustments, enabling its wearer to make quick adjustments to the helmet in action.

Via a flexible rail system on the outside of the helmet, all established accessories can be attached – without screw holes through the outer shell. The special construction of the H6 Pro offers the helmet wearer the best possible vision and the possibility of using common night vision devices. Despite its full edge protection, the hearing ability of the helmet wearer is only restricted minimally. In addition, the helmet can further be equipped with ballistic visor up to protection level 3, shatter protection visor, helmet cover coat (sample according to customer request), different colours (on customer request), headset (on request), and compatibility with respiratory masks (on request).

Paino kiinnostaisi kovasti....
 
Alle 2kg = ok, alle 1.5kg = hyvä, alle 1kg = erinomainen, mutta ei nykysillä tekniikoilla mitenkään saavutettavissa. +2kg = huono, menee ehkä pari tuntia rynnäkkö hommissa.

Olisiko eka tehty 5mm liian paksu kypärä, joka on sit puristettu toooodella isossa prässissä esim 15mm paksuudesta ->10mm paksuuteen.
Autojen kisaosia tehdään paljon, että eka aihio taotaan jo valssaus vaiheessa todella tiiviiksi, sit se raakakoneistetaan liian isoksi ja iiiiiiisolla prässillä painetaan suht lopulliseen tai jopa lopulliseen muotoon. Kallista, erittäin kallista... Esim tollaset vanteet taitaa pyöriä jossain 2-4k euroa kpl.

Veikkaan jotain hiilletysterästä joka on prässätty muotoon, sen jälkeen hiilletyskarkaistu jolloin saadaan kova pinta mutta erittäin sitkeä rakenne joka ei sirpaloidu. Tuo prässääminen ohuemmaksi vaatis niin jumalattoman prässin, että en usko. Enkä myöskään taetta. Hiilletysteräs jossain muodossaan on mun veikkaus.

The Welp H6Pro combat helmet offers so far unprecedented bullet resistance according to VPAM HVN 2009 protection class 6, which corresponds to a ballistic protection against ammunition of the caliber 7.62 x 39 mm. This exceptionally high protection is provided throughout the helmet’s entire surface area of 1127 cm².

Compared to the safety helmets frequently used so far, the H6 PRO offers an unrestricted high 360° protection. Therefore, the helmet wearer is completely protected even in the edge areas, which makes the H6 PRO unique in its category. This is in contrast to other helmet manufacturers, which often use different material combinations or deliberately abandon protection of the edge area. This unique ballistic performance was tested and certified on 14 May 2018 by the German firing authority according to the current VPAM guideline.

The H6 PRO offers an exclusively high level of protection and is especially recommended for short special operations such as Special Deployment Commandos and Mobile Deployment Commandos. The H6 PRO is manufactured with cutting edge technology by the WELP Group and therefore provides an outstanding well performance as well as a robust and reliable design.

Thanks to the padded inserts, the H6 PRO also offers a high degree of wearing comfort. It can be individually adjusted to different head circumferences from 51 to 65 cm by one-handed adjustment of the built-in flexible belt system. Therefore, the wearer is able to make quick adjustments while preparing actions. The special construction of the H6 PRO offers the helmet wearer the best possible vision and the possibility of using common night vision devices. Despite its full edge protection, the wearer's hearing is only minimally impaired.

A flexible adapter system on the outside of the helmet allows all common accessories and individual required features to be attached, without needing to screw holes through the outer shell. The colour range as well as the surface condition can be personalized according the customer requirements.

Jutussa mainitaan että kypärää suositellaan nimenomaan lyhyisiin erikoisoperaatioihin ja viitataan ilmeisesti Saksan poliisin SEK- ja MEK-erikoisjoukkoihin. Kypärän valmistaja WELP on saksalainen firma.

Joku näppärä voisi laskea minkälaiset kiihtyvyys voimat yms tulee niskoille, jos siihen osuu 762x39. Tosin mitä uutta toi tuo esim Karhun, Vatien yms Ulbrichts kypäriin..
 
Eikös luodin iskuvoima ole sama (ainakin piipunsuulla) kuin rekyylin voima olkaan? Niin ei muuta kuin aseen perä päähän kiinni ja laukaise. Luodin iskuvoima tietenkin vähenee matkalla.

Ei ihan. Aseen kaasujärjestelmä, liikkuvat yms syö rekyyliä, perä on isompi pinta-alaltaan kuin 7.62.
Ehkä jos pulttilukkosella ampus ja laittas perään kiinni 7.62mm tapin. Toisaalta ase ei peräännyt 700-800ms vai perääntyykö?
