24 of those 88 VLS are the much larger K-VLS II type, which can launch significantly larger weapons than the Mk-41 or K-VLS (48 and 16 respectively, both of similar size).

Given KDX-III batch Is have 128 VLS divided between the Mk-41 and K-VLS, for the Batch II's armament they basically chose to trade 64 of the Mk-41/K-VLS sized VLS for 24 much larger and more future proof VLS, which seems a fair trade to me.

Ihan näppärä konsti jonkun yksittäisen väylän nopeaan sulkemiseen. Ja paljon nopeampi kuin esim. ohjusvene.

Jos uskaltaa ottaa hieman riskiä, niin on myös pirullinen väline miinoittaa jo raivattu väylä... :devilish:
 
Australiastahan noita koptereita saisi kohta lisää... Mutta kustannukset ja suorituskyky ei taida ihan täsmätä NH90:n kohdalla.
