Panssarivaunut

Uusimmasta panssarilehdestä poimittuna pari pientä nyanssia:

Museolta haettiin pois näytillä kait jo vuosikausia seisonut syöttöpumppu vikainen Leopard-2A4, menee siltavaunun alustaksi. Tilalle tuotiin toinen ajokuntoinen (luultavasti kuluneemmalla alustalla?).

PsvK järjestää jatkossa kaksi kertausta vuosittain, toinen niistä on muuntokoulutus A4 -> A6 kalustolle. Toinen perinteinen kertaus.

Oli vähän asiaa myös uusien "ps.joukko-osastojen" Leopard-2A4 miehistöjen koulutuksesta, hoidetaan siis Parolassa about joukkue/ryhmä tasalle asti ja loput omissa j-osastoissa, joka viittaa siis melko selkeästi vastaavissa pienissä kokonaisuuksissa toimimiseen lopullisessa tehtävässä.
Itse en jaksaisi tästä meteliä aiheuttaneesta "ps-voiman pilkkomisesta pienii osiin" haloota nostaa.
Tuo on kaikki extraa vanhassa muodossa jatkavien varsinaisten ps-yhtymien päälle, isompia SA-kokonaisuuksia ei olisi kuitenkaan varaa muodostaa lisää. Ja vaunut menevät muutenkin sellaisten joukkojen tueksi jotka toimivat enemmän tai vähemmän ps-kalustolle epäedullisemmassa (esim. hyvin rikkonaisessa / peitteisessä metsätie ympäristössä) maastossa, jolloin pienissä osissa toiminen voi olla ainut mahdollinen tapa toimia suurimman osan ajasta.
 
Lähinnä herää kysymys että kuka joi oluen? Onko se vaunukuski, viskaapeli vai esittelijä?

Missään ei ole ilmoitusta kuinka monta uutta terminaattoria on tilattu? Jos t14 tilattiin se muutama sata niin kulkeeko näiden kanssa numerot kymmenissä vaiko sadoissa?

T-Rex. Ukrainan vastaus naapurin uusille vaunuille. Huomaa kolmen hengen miehistö koteloituna vaunun eteen.

The Ukrainian Defense Industry has announced the development of a new main battle tank codenamed T-Rex using new technology and design that could compete with the new generation of Russian main battle tank T-14 Armata according the Ukrainian manufacturer Arey Engineering Group.

The T-Rex will have a new generation of fire control system and will be made using latest technologies of armour solutions. The new features will include 360° vision capacities for all members of the crew and the tank will be protected with active protection system to counter guided and unguided anti-tank missile systems.

Like the T-14 Armata, the Ukrainian T-Rex will be fitted with an unmanned turret and all the the three members of the crew will be seated in the front of the hull.

The T-Rex will be armed with one 125mm cannon fitted with an automatic loading system and one remotely operated weapon station mounted on the top of the turret.

According to the tank’s designers, its combat characteristics exceed the two Ukrainian-made main battle tanks Oplot and Bulat.

From 00:00 to 01:10: Introduction to documentary. Well maintained equipment determine the battle. With powerful firepower and primary [army] weapon, the tank. Where worn out tank is reborn. Refurbishing the tank in 40 days. Witness the sweat born from working with 1200 degrees of molten steel. Stripping the paint with steel balls. All small details are covered to assure soldiers' safety. Wrestling with 50 ton vehicle.

From 01:11 to 03:09: At South Gyeongsang province, city of Changwon, lies Army Logistic Command depot. Daily by train worn equipments arrives to the depot. Crane are used to move heavy equipments. Most of the equipment are worn out, either driven 9600km or in service for 12 years and 6 months.

From 03:09 to 03:49: It is responsibility of Army Logistic Command to provide maintenance for the army. It is here that many as 1000 different types of vehicle are reborn as new. K1 tank, K9 SPG, K55 SPG, K200 series and various firearm are bought to depot to be fixed.

From 03:49 to 07:21: Tank maintenance is the primary focus of the depot. First the track of the tank are removed using the blowtorch. This is done since it will be difficult to remove the track inside the factory. It takes about 20 minutes remove each thread. Worn out track are stripped of its rubber soles and are recycled. First the thread is washed to remove any dirt and rubbles, bolts are removed and track components are removed via hammers.

From 07:21 to end: Meanwhile the tank are towed to the depot. 800 people are worked at this department. These employees pass government exam and then receive training as military civilian employees. They must have attention to detail and good physique to be able to work in the depot. Tank are taken apart to the smallest detail. This takes at least 10 days. This is done to inspect every parts.

From 00:00 to 01:01: Continuing from first part, shows the stripping of the tank. Engine are carefully removed and transported and taken to different part of the depot to be inspected. Chassis takes 8 days to be disassembled and the turret takes 4 days to be disassembled.

From 01:01 to 03:02:Engine are taken apart and inspected. Parts that are in good condition are kept and parts that are worn out are replaced. K1 tank's engine has 1500 parts. In order for the tank to be used for 10 more years, every parts are scrutinized. If well maintained, the tank can be in service for 50 years. The employees start working at 7:30AM under summer temperature with no AC.

From 03:02 to 05:00: disassembled thread are then sent to incinerator to strip the rubber soles at 500 degrees. After rubber are stripped, the thread are reused. It takes 2 hours to do so.

From 05:00 to end: At 11:00AM, lunchtime for the employees. At 12 different departments, depot has 2000 employees. Some eat at cafeteria and take a break at lounge. Others will simply skip lunch and instead exercise.

From 00:00 to 04:11: Tank's camouflage paint are stripped using small steel balls. Sized 1.2 to 1.7mm, these steel balls are fired at speed of 6 to 7 kmph.

From 04:11 to end: Following day, newly re-assembled tank received performance test. Turret are being tested. Since these newly refurbished tanks will be sent right back to old unit, every tests must be done so there are no issue. Problem was detected.

Vai onkohan niitä kohta jo 86 kpl maissa? Pv:n raportin mukaan 1.1.2018 vahvuus on 80, ja sitten nämä päälle. Vai ennakoidaankohan rapparissa jo näitäkin toimituksia...

Jäin käsitykseen hankinnan aikaisesta uutisoinnista, että vaunut toimitettaisiin 20 vaunun vuotuisissa erissä ja että toimitusaikataulu olisi 2015-2019. Mutta voihan se olla, että tuota aikataulua on rukattu tai sitten tosiaan ennakoidaan.

Samassa raportissa on 3 kpl 155 Moukari tykkejä, joista tiettävästi kaksi tuli Vuosaareen vasta maaliskuun alkupäivinä. Eli raporttiin on ennakoitu vuoden 2018 toimitukset niin ei tule muilta sopimusosapuolilta sanomista.
 
Täytyy näin jälkiviisaana(kin) todeta, että Leo-kauppa oli kyllä ihan huikea kaappaus, suorastaan rosvoretki. 200 miljoonalla sata modernia vaunua kaikin tilpehöörein, ajan tasalle kunnostettuina. Tämä rauhallinen toimitustahtikin on toiminut todella hyvin, vaikka silloin alussa tuntui ehkä hitaalta.

Onneksi on rauha säilynyt raukoilla rajoilla, vielä kun saadaan ensi vuonna viimeinen satsi kotiin niin vot. :salut:
