Tuloksena eurooppalainen EMBT Demonstrator (Enhanced Main Battle Tank).
Ei ole "vakava"versio vaan demo.
Kait tämä edes joku fake news...
A. Miksi vitussa Saksan kokoisessa maassa pitäisi laittaa raskaanaoleva "naisoletettu" vaunuun?
B. Onkohan tämä tiineysvaunu patteri kuinkakin suuri?
C. Ei väliä, kun eivät liiku muutenkaan...
Frank Haun has big plans. The 56-year-old boss of the tank manufacturer Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) wants to bring the traditional German private company into a joint venture with French state-owned tank manufacturer Nexter . Against this background, he examines the strengths and weaknesses of armaments production in Germany more closely. And recently lamented in Berlin about a nonsensical set of rules in domestic production.
The KMW boss warned: "We can no longer sell our products". Reason are the "military leaflets" on which is "what we have to take everything into account". There is a bureaucracy and circulation jungle. If there are also restrictions on exports and the state does not pay any new developments, "the defense industry in Germany will no longer exist in ten years".
Haun, for example, called the workplace regulations or the specifications for VDU workplaces, which are also to be met inside tanks. Abroad, Bundeswehr vehicles would be shut down, "because an ASU badge has expired," claimed the KMW boss at a symposium of the "Handelsblatt".
If too many civilian standards for war weapons were required, this would spoil the products. They would then be "no longer sellable" and other countries would make fun of it. Haun therefore demanded the same European specifications and standards - and no emissions regulations for vehicles according to the motto "kill front and back green".
Krauss-MaffeiWegmann (KMW) has been complaining for some time about the requirements of defense procurement from the Ministry of Defense. As in the spring once again delays and cost increases in the Rheinmetall built new infantry fighting vehicle Puma were publicized, this reasoned KMW partly with the questionable specifications.
For example, one of the more than 100 "relevant documents" on the development contract for the armored infantry fighting vehicle states that the technical rules for hazardous substances must also be complied with. Thereafter, the carbon monoxide content should not be above a limit, because otherwise threaten a "fruit water damaging effect" in pregnant women. The air inside the Puma must be so clean that even pregnant women could drive safely.

Edit. Frank Haun on oikeassa, muut maat todellakin tekevät jo pilaa Saksan sotilaskalustosta, maalla, merellä, ja ilmassa
Stena kutsuu Kanadan Leo1-tankkeja. Ei kelvannut Suomelle bergepanzerit ja pionierpanzerit, vaikka niitä vastikään hamuttiin Hollannista. Nyt Jordanian diilin kaatuessa heittävät kirveen lopullisesti kaivoon.
