Hyvin mielenkiintoinen kommentti S-300 ja S-400 järjestelmistä sekä HIMARS / M270 raketeista:
Viestin kommenteista pohdintaa:
A) I bet that they can track them. But. It takes 35 seconds to "code" and lauch S400 rocket. In that time GMLRS rocket travels 30km. To catch it, it would take another like 20 seconds but in that time M31 already destroys the target.
B) Even if they could track them, Russia would run out of S-400 interceptors way, way before Ukraine runs out of GMLRS.
A) Yeah, thats another aspect. There are 6 GMLRS in one container. M142 carries 1, M270 2 containers. It is just too many targets in the sky to intercept with a system like S400. It wasn't designed for it.

There is a scandal in the Russian Azmaz-Antey concern: S-400s cannot shoot down HIMARS missiles, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed this complex in Khartsyzk with these missiles, - Gerashchenko
Adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, made public the information that the use of the "HIMARS" anti-aircraft missile system by the Armed Forces of Ukraine caused a scandal among Russian arms manufacturers.
As
Censor.NET informs, he wrote about it
on Facebook.
Gerashchenko noted: "The Russian Ministry of Defense has started a showdown with the management of the manufacturer of the vaunted S300 and S400 air defense systems, the Almaz-Antey concern."
The head of the Board - former Prime Minister of Russia Mykhailo Fradkov and the director of the concern Jan Novikov can not only lose their posts, but also receive criminal cases for undermining Russia's defense capabilities.
The leadership of this criminal organization, during the conclusion of multibillion-dollar contracts for the supply of the S-400, guaranteed that their air defense system would be guaranteed to shoot down not only airplanes and helicopters, but also missiles launched by the American RZSO "HIMARS".
As always happens in the military industry of Nazi Russia, the technical characteristics of the flagship complex of anti-aircraft defense were inflated many times, and the money allocated for the development of the S400 was embezzled.
The deception was revealed recently, when the S400 could not shoot down a single "HIMARS" missile either in Donbas, Zaporizhzhia, or Kherson regions.
Moreover, during the attack on the Russian military base in Khartsyzk, HIMARS missiles destroyed the S400 complex, which was supposed to cover this area from air strikes.
That is, the S400 anti-aircraft complex can not only protect the airspace, but is not even able to protect itself!
I think that this story will lead not only to high-profile resignations and criminal cases, but also to the refusal of potential buyers from the products of the Almaz-Antey concern.
I am sure that the C400 complex destroyed in Khartsyzk is not the last in the track record of "HIMARS" in Ukraine."
