MOSCOW, 31 July. /TASS/. Russia will continue to fight Ukrainian terrorist strikes on civilian targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. This was stated to journalists by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
The Kremlin spokesman called the Ukrainian strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation "acts of desperation against the backdrop of failures." "Of course, the Kiev regime resorts to such terrorist tactics of delivering terrorist strikes. These terrorist strikes are aimed precisely at civilian, precisely at some social goals. This is disgusting, we will continue to fight this. Of course, we can definitely talk about some success for the Kiev regime not necessary," Peskov stressed.
The Kiev regime confirms its essence by continuing its attempts to deliver terrorist strikes, Peskov said.
"Yes, the essence of the Kyiv regime is being confirmed again and again, and attempts to deliver terrorist strikes are indeed continuing," he said.
Peskov added that "everything possible is being done to minimize the risk of these strikes."
Peskov pointed out that security measures in Moscow and the regions have been strengthened due to ongoing attacks from Ukraine. “It is obvious that security measures have already been strengthened, and so all possible measures are being taken to organize protection at the required level from the continuing danger of terrorist attacks on civilian facilities and on the residential sector by the Kiev regime. This applies not only to Moscow, this applies to all regions that are currently subject to such attacks," the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation said.
Answering a question about specific security measures, he noted: "As for the specifics, here, of course, you need to address your questions to the Ministry of Defense. It is those who are professionally involved in this that should give answers to this question."
