Moscow. May 19. INTERFAX.RU - Alpha Bank informed on Thursday of its intention to apply to the arbitration court for recognition of OAO "NPK" Uralvagonzavod "(DC) insolvent (bankrupt), according to the
communication in the Federal Register of information about the facts of legal entities activity.
The bank on Thursday filed two similar statements with respect to the two "daughters" Uralvagonzavod - "Uraltrac" and OOO "Technopark" Traktorozavod ".
Uralvagonzavod spokesman would not comment on "relationship with Alfa-Bank." On Wednesday it became known that the company "Uraltrac", part of the Corporation "Uralvagonzavod" (DC), filed a second lawsuit on the notification of illegality on the part of Alpha Bank for early termination of the six credit agreements within the framework of a lawsuit to recover from the Uralvagonzavod " Uraltrac "and OOO" Technopark "Traktorozavod" (TPT is also within the Uralvagonzavod) payable on these loans for a total amount of more than seven billion rubles and $ 30.2 million.

As part of the court hearing on Wednesday UVZ, CTZ and OOO "Technopark Traktorozavod" also lodged a petition to reduce the size of the penalty imposed on the collection of Alfa Bank. In particular, Alfa Bank filed to collect the penalty, which is calculated based on the rate of 73% per annum for ruble and 56% per annum for foreign currency loans. Uralvagonzavod "Uraltrac" TFT and offered the court determining the penalty amount on the basis of a double rate CBR on the date of notice of termination of credit agreements, or double the average rate on concluded credit agreements, as is common in the judicial practice. According to calculations of Uralvagonzavod and its "daughters" on the basis of these methods the size of the penalty does not exceed 250 million rubles.
