The F35 program will prove to be the worst financial and military mistake in the history of military mismanagement. Make no mistake, this plane is the equivalent of the Charge of the Light Brigade, in terms of futility and cost. The plane is off duty more than it's on, due to extremely costly and complicated maintenance. The cost of training is through the roof, so pilots are rarely battle ready. The F35 only shoots down much lesser aircraft to the pathetic ratio of about 1.3 kills to each F35 lost (Versus, for example the SAAB Grippen) - BUT bearing in mind the huge purchase cost of the plane and it's absurdly high running costs, it is - for all intents and purposes, a white elephant. Why did various air forces get it then? You'd better ask all the politicians who made the decision and then check out their bank accounts, their families bank accounts and (especially) their numbered Swiss/Cayman accounts. As far as Australia's concerned, it was a case of sticking with the ageing and antiquated F18 Super Hornet or upgrade to the F35 (and I will agree, the F35 is better than the F18). What's my suggestion? Australia should make the SAAB Grippen, in Australia, under license. Failing that, they should try and resurrect the F22, which is in all respects a better aircraft than anything else available, with the possible exception of the MIG35. (The MIG 35 costs less than 1/3rd the cost of an F35..... but I don't see the Russians selling MIG 35 to the Aussies.)

Meinasin kans just sanoo. Että vihdoinkin koneesta on saatu sellainen menevän näköinen kuva jota voisin "fanittaa" kaipa se silmä vielä totuttelee häiveeseen.

Ei noista Rafaleen tai C-Gripeniin (uudesta en tykkää esteettisesti, runko näyttää liian pitkältä) verrattuna kaunotar ole yksikään versio, mutta tuo C-malli on isoimpine siipineen sopusuhtaisimman näköinen.

Kyllä ei ole rumempaa konetta rakennettu. Käsittämätöntä että joku ihan ajatuksella ja tarkoituksella onnistuu piirtämään tuollaisen kauhistuksen. F-35 on itse asiassa varsin linjakas kun vaan on sopiva verrokki...
