Sveitsin kriteerit:
Which criteria are decisive for Switzerland?
The four main criteria for the evaluation of Armasuisse are effectiveness, product support, cooperation and direct industrial participation, i.e. compensation deals. The focus is on the capabilities of the new combat aircraft. They are weighted at 55 percent by the DDPS. The new Swiss jet must be able to cover the entire spectrum from air police to use in national defense.
The autonomy in the operation and maintenance of the new jet is also very important. This criterion is rated at 25 percent in the evaluation. In the requirements, the DDPS stipulates that flight operations must also be carried out on the ground with their own personnel. A similar number of people should be responsible for maintenance as there are today. The criteria of cooperation and compensation transactions are each weighted with 10 percent.
