https://www.armyrecognition.com/eur...r_shoulder-launched_guided_weapon_system.htmlThe Enforcer concept is a new lightweight one-shot, disposable shoulder-launched guided munition which has a firing range from 100 m to 2 km using Fire-and-Forget missile system. MBDA is positioning Enforcer (KFK) as a complimentary multipurpose munition to existing shoulder-fired infantry weapon systems. It enables dismounted infantry to engage lightly protected battlefield/urban targets at relevant combat ranges, with high precision and minimal exposure to the operator.
The Enforcer can be used against lightly armoured and soft skinned targets during night and day operations. It has a weight of 9 kg including missile and launch tube. The Enforces is designed to destroy a wide range of static and moving targets, including concealed snipers.
The Enforcer can be operated from behind cover and from enclosed/confined spaces. It can be carried and operated by a single soldier, with minimal exposure of the operator to enemy fireCompatible with the Wirkmittel 90 weapon system.
The Enforcer is a German-led, multi-national MBDA program. In December 2016, MBDA has announced successful test fire of the lightweight missile Enforcer as part of its ongoing development programme. The multinational Enforcer team scored several highly accurate hits during guided firings carried out at the trials facility of the German Bundeswehr’s Technical Center for Weapons and Ammunition 91 in November 2016.
The firing tests with the Enforcer development prototype were conducted at ranges of between 1,000m to 2,000 m and confirmed expectations with regard to the weapon’s homing head, which guided the missile directly to the centre of each of the intended targets. One of the missiles used the new lightweight, carbon-fiber launching tube developed by MBDA in Italy. It has now entered development phase and has completed six successful firings to prove technology and design viability and it could be qualified by the end of 2019.
Ajoneuvossa on näköjään RPG verkko, jonka tehtävä on suojata nimenomaan RPG osumilta, eli käytännössä siis että RPG osuisi verkkoon vähemmän optimaalisesti, eikä täten läpäisisi ajouneuvon varsinaista panssaria kunnolla tai ei ollenkaan. Verkko näytti tekevän tehtävänsä. 3:33 sanoo radioonkin että "it hit the RPG net".Vastaan tuli tällainen videon pätkä.
The Estonian Centre for Defence Investments (ECDI) is set to purchase €30 million of C90 disposable, shoulder-fired grenade launchers and ammunition for the grenade launchers from Spain's Instalaza S.A.
The framework agreement on the purchase of C90s, ammunition and training equipment was concluded for five years, it appears from an announcement published in Estonia's public procurement register.
Previously, Instalaza has supplied the Estonian Defence Forces (EDF) with grenade launchers with armor-penetrating and anti-bunker/building warheads alike.
The first batch of C90s was supplied to Estonia in 2009, and after testing in Estonia and Afghanistan a decision was made to continue purchases of the weapon.
The one-man-operated rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launcher weighs from 4.7-5.1 kg and has a point target range of 350 m. Its projectile can penetrate up to 480 mm of armor.
In early May 2018, the French Army fired a combat version of the 5th generation land combat missile MMP on its firing range of Canjuers in the Alps at a remarkable range of over 5000 meters. Although the firing was executed in complex conditions (rain, gusts, at a ground altitude over 800 m and on a fleeting target with reduced signature), the missile hit the target right in its middle after a nominal flight. The MMP has been qualified in June 2016 by the French Army who has been operating the missile since November 2017.
https://www.npr.org/sections/health...-now-worry-about-their-brains?t=1532602392534Chris Ferrari was just 18 the first time he balanced a rocket launcher on his right shoulder and aimed it at a practice target.
"Your adrenaline's going and you're trying to focus on getting that round to hit, and then you go to squeeze that trigger and, you know."
Boom!
The report is loud enough to burst the eardrums of anyone not wearing military-grade hearing protection. And the blast wave from the weapon is so powerful it feels like a whole-body punch.
"It's exhilarating," says Chris's buddy Daniel, a former gunner in the Marine Corps who asked that we not use his last name. "When you feel a concussive wave, it's an awesome thing. It fills you with awe."
It also may do bad things to your brain.
Studies show that troops who repeatedly fire powerful, shoulder-launched weapons can experience short-term problems with memory and thinking. They may also feel nauseated, fatigued and dizzy. In short, they have symptoms like those of a concussion.
It's still not clear whether firing these weapons can lead to long-term brain damage. But Chris and Daniel suspect that, for them, it may have.

Ihmettelin hiukan samaa.
Katsoppas 2:46.
