Here’s The Weapon That Has Hamas Begging Israel For A Ceasefire

With the demolition of a Hamas military base and 9 top terrorist commanders killed, Israel has considered a “humanitarian ceasefire,” which may last up to five days.
Although Israel welcomes any amount of peace, Hamas seems to be the group behind the pursuit of halting fire. However, Hamas isn’t concerned for Gaza’s civilians, but seeks time to find the weakness in
Israel’s unstoppable ground defense system.
Israel has introduced Hamas to the Chariot-4 merkava tank’s Armored Shield Protection-Active Troph missile defense system, or “Windbreaker” for short.
The
401st armored brigade’s incredible technology seems like something out of Star Wars, with a defense system on each tank that blows up enemy missiles before they hit the tanks:
Hamas has tried to stop these tanks with two kinds of advanced guided anti-tank missiles, the Russian Kornet-E, and the 9M113 Konkurs. But the Merkava tank Windbreaker repels them and blows them all up.
Wednesday July 23 the IDF deliberately placed brigade commander Col. Sa’ar Tzur, one of the outstanding commanders in Operation Protective Edge, before TV cameras, while standing in front of a Chariot-4 tank.
He spoke at length about the brigade’s unstoppable performance under anti-tank missile fire. Those missiles are blown up without penetrating the tanks’ armor, he said, and are powerless to slow their advance.
Hamas has found no answer to beat the system. This is no surprise since they still are at odds with Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile defense batteries, which are successful 90 percent of the time.
The scramble to come up with a means of overpowering Israel’s technology explains Hamas’ opting for only a five-day ceasefire instead of long-term peace. Peace isn’t the goal in Gaza; it’s only a pause to regroup for more slaughter.
