Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported on the training of Air Defense and Air Force troops with live firing, it’s unknown whether it’s connected with the flashes in the area of Ziabrauka.
It was reported that from August 9 to August 25, 2022, an operational-tactical exercise with the troops of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces with live firing will take place.
According to the Defense Ministry, the exercises will be held in two stages: from August 9 to August 11 in the training areas on the territory of Belarus, and from August 22 to August 25 on the territory and airspace of the Ashuluk training ground.
Probably, these exercises should take place in the restricted flight zones: the south of Belarus and two additional zones located in the northeastern part of Babruisk (Mogilev region) and in the southeastern part of Polatsk (Vitebsk region).
According to this logic, Ziabrauka fits, but at the same time the Ministry of Defense of Belarus has not reported either the exact locations of these exercises on the territory of Belarus, or at what time of the day they are planned.
