Venäjä haluaa pintaliitoalukset takaisin – Kaspianmeren hirviö oli aikansa kummajainen

Venäjä suunnittelee pintaliitosalusten paluuta. Neuvostoliitto oli aikoinaan innostunut alustyypistä, ja Kaspianmeren hirviöksi ristitty Ekranoplan herätti kummastusta lännessäkin.

Ekranoplan KM oli 92 metriä pitkä, ja se kohosi liitoon 300 tonnin hyötykuorma sisällään. Aluksen suunniteltu huippunopeus oli 500 kilometriä tunnissa, mutta sen sanotaan testeissä kulkeneen yli 700 kilometrin tuntinopeudella alle kymmenen metrin korkeudella meren pinnasta.

Neuvostoliitossa aluksilla pyrittiin sotakaluston ja joukkojen nopeaan liikutteluun.

Nyt Venäjä suunnittelee Orlan-nimellä kulkevan pintaliitoaluksen rakentamista. Varapääministeri Juri Borisovin uutistoimisto Tassille antaman haastattelun mukaan Orlanin prototyypin rakentaminen kuuluu valtion vuoden 2018-2027 rakennussuunnitelmiin.

Tarkkoja tietoja projektista ei ole tiedossa, mutta aluksen kantokyvyksi on suunniteltu vähintään 300 tonnia.

Itämeren laivastolla on siis käytännössä nolla fregattia, kun sisaralus Neustrashimyy on peruskorjauksessa, ollut jo jonkin aikaa, vuodesta 2014. Yantar uskoo saavansa sen valmiiksi 2018 lopussa .. tai 2019 alussa -- mutta ei oikeastaan halua kommentoida asiaa. Tämän jälkeen sen pitäisi olla yhtenevässä kunnossa Yaroslav Mudryn kanssa, jos koneiden osalta huolto on mennyt nappiin. Koneissahan (Ukrainavalmisteisissa) on se ongelma; Ukraina ei niitä huolla joten huolto on tehty Samarassa - jännittävä nähdä miten onnistui.

Admiral Ushakov (Pohjoisen Laivaston Sovremenyy-luokan hävittäjä, tullee korvatuksi admiral Gorshkovilla, joka esiintyi Pietarissa paraatissa). Mahtaako Itämeren Laivaston vastaava Sovremenyy-luokan edustaja (Nastoychivyy) saada lainkaan korvaajaa.
 
Kun uusia ideoita ei ole, niin kierrätetään neuvostokamaa.

Project A-080-752 on display at IMDS 2013. According to Alekseyev Central Hydrofoil Design Bureau, this craft has a length of 47.6 meters, a width of 45.3 meters, a full displacement of 100 tons, a payload capacity of 20 tons, a cruising speed of 450 Km/h and a flight range of 5000 Km.

"The state armaments program for 2018-2027 includes Orlan R&D, which stipulates the construction of the wing-in-surface-effect craft. The prototype will be created as part of this armament program and it will carry missiles," he said.

The wing-in-surface-effect craft will be used to protect the Northern Sea Route where infrastructure is weakly protected.

"It can hover and monitor the areas, as well as the internal seas: the Caspian and the Black Seas,"he said. The new craft can also operate as a patrol vehicle to rescue ship crews, Borisov said.

A wing-in-surface-effect craft is a multimode vessel, which in its basic regime performs a flight using the surface effect over the water or other surface without constant contact with it. The craft is kept in the air by the aerodynamic lifting force generated on the air wing, the body or their parts designed for the use of the surface effect. The craft normally performs flights at lower altitudes than ordinary aircraft but moves at a higher speed than a ship.

At the MAKS-2015 international air show outside Moscow, Russia’s Naval Aviation Chief Igor Kozhin said that the fleet expected to get a standardized wing-in-surface-effect platform with a lifting capacity of up to 300 tons by 2020. A representative of the Ramenskoye Instrument-Making Design Bureau told TASS the company has completed developing the project of the control and information provision system for wing-in-surface-effect craft in the interests of the Russian Navy.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alekseyev Central Hydrofoil Design Bureau Georgy Antsev told TASS that the development of the promising universal wing-in-surface-effect craft for Russia’s Defense Ministry was at the stage of conceptual design.

Russia's Krylov Research Center Unveils Light Aircraft Carrier Design

The Krylov State Research Center (KGNC) has presented the model of a light multi-purpose aircraft carrier at the Army-2018 International Military-Technical Forum for the first time. It is on display at the Krylov’s exhibition stand.

"The light multipurpose aircraft carrier is designed to ensure combat sustainability of the fleet’s forces and weapons which are engaged in hostilities in blue and green waters by fulfilling anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense tasks as well as by destroying air, surface, underwater and onshore targets," KGCN said in its documents.

The light aircraft carrier’s standard displacement is 37000 tons; normal displacement - 40500 tons and full displacement - 44000 tons. The length is 304 meters. The length on design waterline is 260 meters. The width is 78 meters. The width on design water line is 38 meters; sea gauge is 8.5 meters. Full speed is 28 knots; cruising speed is 16 knots. Range on 16 knots is 8000 miles; autonomous navigation on food supplies is 60 days. Aviation seaworthiness is up to 7 points. The main propulsion plant consists of a two-shaft gas turbine with partial electric propulsion. The capacity is 81000 KWT or 110000 horse-power. The electric power system consists of 3 power plants with a total capacity of 32MWATTS (6.3 kW/50Hz).

Shipborne arms include four Pantsyr-ME anti-aircraft missile gun systems with target detection units. The Paket complexes comprising four 324 mm torpedo launchers ensure protection against torpedoes. Four rocket-assisted bomb throwers as well as active and passive electronic warfare systems can be deployed on the ship.

The light aircraft carrier’s air wing consists of 46 flying craft, including 12-14 Su-33 and 12-14 MiG -29K/KUB fighter jets; four long-range radar detection and control aircraft; 12-14 Ka-27-class helicopters. Air-launched weapons stock is up to 600 tons; Aviation kerosene stock is up to 2,000 tons.

The Krylov State Research Center presented a project for a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier of project 23000E (Storm). Its displacement is 95,000-100,000 tons. Its air wing consists of 80-90 flying craft.
