IOC on käytännössä ymmärrettävämpi yleistermi Technology Readiness Level 7-9 käsitteelle, jota porukka ei varmaan tunne?

The combat aircraft must be offered in the versions designated by Switzerland and made available for flight and ground testing. If individual subsystems (for example radar) become even more powerful in the coming years, it is up to Switzerland to decide which version of the subsystem it wants to procure. However, the fighter aircraft must be able to be procured in the configuration as tested and rated in 2019, and it will be rated based on this configuration.
The quote request explicitly specifies which types of fighter aircraft should be offered. This is relevant where there are different versions: offer Boeing F / A-18 Super Hornet and Saab Gripen E. Earlier versions such as F / A-18 C / D and Gripen C / D are not considered.
For the aircraft to be offered, at least the four most important subsystems (radar, electronic warfare, optical sensors and data link) at the time of the flight and ground trials in Switzerland (April-June 2019) must have a so-called Technology Readiness Level of at least 7 (on a scale to 9). This means that the subsystem ready for testing has to be in compliance with the definitive subsystem or very close to it and installed in the aircraft. It also needs to be demonstrated in an operational environment.
The subsystems installed in the fighter aircraft at the time of the flight and ground trials in Switzerland must subsequently be effectively offered. This is e.g. excluded that only for testing a subsystem of a previous model is installed, because a newer does not yet have the required degree of maturity, but there is no intention to offer the older subsystem in the episode really.
Based on current information and analyzes on the degree of maturity and the integration of the subsystems, specialists from armasuisse and the Swiss Air Force came to the conclusion that several of the planned missions could not be carried out expediently (by Gripen E).

Käytännössä, mitä se tarkoittaa on, että Sveitsillä oli erilaisia operatiivisia tehtäviä mitä pitää suorittaa.
Esim. mallille tehtävä: kävele kahdella jalalla tuon catwalkin lävitse.
Gripenillä ei vielä toista jalkaa ole, niin ei oikein onnistu.
Puraselle asian ymmärtäminen ei varmastikaan tuottanut ongelmia.
Samalla tavalla voisi todeta, että F-35:n suorituskyvystä ei ole mitään tietoa. Eihän se ole suorittanut ainuttakaan taistelulentoa nykyaikaista vihollista vastaan. Eli ne TODELLISET näytöt uupuvat. Mutta hei! ne uupuvat ihan kaikilta kandinaateilta. Paljon suorituskyvystä jää ilmaan roikkumaan ennen kuin sitä päästään tositoimissa kokeilemaan.
