Summary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on the progress of the special military operation (for the period from November 4 to November 10, 2023)
During the period from November 4 to November 10, 2023, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out 11 group strikes with precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles on military airfield infrastructure, arsenals, storage sites for artillery ammunition, weapons and military equipment, as well as enemy fuel and lubricant bases.
In addition, the deployment points of units of Ukrainian military personnel, nationalists and foreign mercenaries were damaged.
All designated targets are hit.
In the Kupyansk direction, units of the Western Group of Forces improved the position along the front line in certain sectors over the course of a week and repelled 18 enemy attacks.
Aviation strikes and artillery fire damaged the personnel and equipment of the 25th Airborne, 68th Jaeger, 14th, 54th and 67th Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Zagoruykovka, Kharkov region, Sverdlovka and Stelmakhovka of the Lugansk People's Republic.
Enemy losses amounted to over 710 military personnel, a tank, 11 armored combat vehicles, 18 vehicles and 16 field artillery pieces.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, units of the Center group of forces, with the support of aviation, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems, repelled nine attacks by assault groups of the 1st Special Forces Brigade, the 24th and 47th Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the 15th Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine .
In addition, in the areas of the settlements of Yampolovka and Serebryanka of the Donetsk People's Republic, accumulations of manpower and equipment of the 67th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 125th territorial defense brigade were defeated.
Total enemy losses during this period amounted to more than 725 military personnel killed and wounded, three tanks, 13 armored combat vehicles, 20 vehicles, six field artillery guns and two MLRS combat vehicles.
In the Donetsk direction, the Southern Group of Forces inflicted fire damage on the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of the settlements of Marinka, Kurdyumovka, Bogdanovka, Andreevka and Kleshcheevka of the Donetsk People's Republic.
Over the past week, Russian units repelled 16 enemy attacks. The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to more than 1,590 military personnel killed and wounded, three tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, 32 vehicles, 17 field artillery pieces and three MLRS combat vehicles.
In the South Donetsk direction, units of the Vostok group of troops occupied more advantageous lines and positions, and also repelled three enemy attacks.
Aviation strikes and artillery fire inflicted fire damage on units of the 79th air assault, 58th motorized infantry brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the 105th and 128th terrestrial defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhailovka, Staromayorskoye, Urozhaynoye of the Donetsk People's Republic and Priyutnoye of the Zaporozhye region .
The enemy's total losses amounted to over 800 military personnel killed and wounded, a tank, 12 armored combat vehicles, and 22 vehicles.
During the counter-battery fight, eight field artillery guns and an MLRS combat vehicle were hit.
In addition, in the area of the Bogatyr settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic, an artillery ammunition warehouse of the 127th Territorial Defense Brigade was destroyed.
In the Zaporozhye direction, units of Russian troops conducted an active defense, during which they repelled 14 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Verbovoe and Rabotino, Zaporozhye region.
Also, in the areas of the settlements of Malaya Tokmachka and Stepovoe, Zaporozhye region, fire damage was caused to the personnel and equipment of the 33rd, 65th and 118th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Enemy losses for the week amounted to 495 troops, five tanks, 32 armored combat vehicles, 13 vehicles, and six field artillery pieces.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy made unsuccessful landing attempts to seize a bridgehead on the islands and the left bank of the Dnieper, during which units of the 35th and 36th Marine Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were defeated.
As a result of active preemptive actions by Russian troops and artillery fire raids, enemy losses in a week amounted to 505 military personnel, 18 field artillery guns, 15 boats and 25 vehicles.
In addition, within a week, 26 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered in this direction.
On November 9, the personnel of the motorized rifle company of the Russian group of troops “Dnepr” under the command of Senior Lieutenant Zolto Arsalanov destroyed military personnel of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces while trying to gain a foothold on the left bank of the Dnieper River.
The unit under the command of senior lieutenant Zolto Arsalanov destroyed most of the militants, and 11 Ukrainian soldiers were captured.
For the courage and heroism shown in repelling the enemy attack, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, presented the unit commander and company soldiers with state awards.
During the week, air defense systems shot down eight combat aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force - four Mig-29s, two Su-27s and two Su-25 attack aircraft.
In addition, 32 HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, 12 Storm Shadow and SCALP tactical cruise missiles, two Neptune anti-ship missiles, two JDAM guided bombs, as well as 205 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 533 aircraft, 254 helicopters, 8,791 unmanned aerial vehicles, 441 anti-aircraft missile systems, 13,335 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,183 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 7,040 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 15,175 units of special military vehicles.
